We should be ale to be upset with the label and express it. It is our opinions! And honestly, how do we know that "no one knows what really happened?" That is also an assumption. No one should feel responsible , there isn't even a problem to begin with , Nica spoke out her mind , and there's nothing wrong with that , and we are speaking out our mind too .It's all about "freedom of expression" here . you speak your mind , I speak mine , in the end , we are all Glamberts discussing here . I have learned my lesson well , eh ?? lol . I hope I don't make problems here anymore for speaking out my mind . Just wish that everybody would consider my age and what part of the world I'm living in , and then they'll know why , sometimes I just speak my mind harshly . Wait. Who was implying that the album wasn't great merely because of sales? Sales is never an indicator of quality, else we would have to believe that McDonald's is the height of cuisine. But at the same time, just because vendors (in this case, radio PD's) refuse to pick up the product, doesn't mean it's the company's fault. Merely that the vendor, for whatever personal reason, isn't buying, or applying the product enough.

:D my point is that Adam 100% supported any and every decision his label made, weather he agreed with it or not, the latter, as was pointed out correctly we don't know, but we can guess from his various interviews. I have a problem with the implications that the album is somehow less than superb based on the sales performance in the US and the fact that Adam was given substantial amount of control somehow impacted the said performance... IMO, the responsibility for the current state of affairs should be placed on RCA's shoulders. They failed to properly position and promote their own substantial investment (as was pointed out as well).  -Adam delivered a brilliant product. Since we don't have any spies in Adam's label or management offices, we don't have any reliable facts about the marketing, song choice, or Adam's opinions and input. So, according to ATop guidelines, we need to close the discussion. Thanks.
There are enough real life worries with the frankenstorm, and there is an Adam concert tonight. Let's shift the focus to supporting our east coasters (on the special hurricane thread) and anticipatng another smash concert tonight.

What RCA has or hasn't done behind the scenes is something that a) we have no knowledge of, b) we have no control over. Even with single choices we have no way of knowing if another choice in another order might have gotten more or less radio play. |
