Adam. just. followed. Ryan. Murphy. A girl can hope  Hoping, hoping, hoping!!! Adam tweeting with Chris Colfer today just raises my hopes even more. I remember Adam said in his MTV Australia interview that if things didn't work out with the Idol judge job then maybe something else would work out, and that comment was made around the same time that Fox found a spot for that Jonas brother on X Factor. So I later hoped that after all the Idol madness Fox would come through in a similar (but better!) way by featuring Adam's music on Glee, and maybe offering him a guest appearance, too, plus having him perform on X Factor and Idol. Seems the least his management should be able to negotiate after the network kept him in suspense for so long. The great social media response from his Pretty Little Liars appearance probably helped his cause, should it happen. If Adam is featured on Glee, maybe that would motivate his label to push his song harder to radio in advance of the show or maybe it could be used as leverage with radio stations. Fingers crossed. Looking forward to video from tonight's concert to see him and the band close-up and to hear the banter (and that sort of rap thing?) that I couldn't quite make out from the stream. Kinda off topic, but sort of related, I saw Alanis (up next) in concert last week and she changed the lyrics in her song "Ironic"--"It's like ten thousand spoons when all you need is a knife. It's meeting the man of my dreams, and then meeting his beautiful . . . (pause) husband"--and got huge applause. |

Well, I, for one, am sooooooo happy I got to actually see and hear AFL do his magic tonight!! Would I have liked to see more? Of course I would have....duh!! LOL!! But, at least I got to SEE and HEAR most of it. Couldn't hear most of his banter, but hoping for vids, of course. LOL!! With all that is going on in the world right now, this little bit of escape did me a lot of good. I just went out to the living room and thanked my kitties for being there for me. Silly? Yep, to some. But, I get unconditional love from them.....ALWAYS!! I assured them that if we were ever in a situation like the east coast is, I would never leave them. They are my family....they are the loves of my life. People....we got Adam...live in Texas...singing his ass off!!! What's not to love about that? It's always too short. We always want more...I do too!! I've only seen him live once. And, I was in total shock and awe...don't even remember most of it....ask Hoopla (who has been MIA for too fucking long) gurllllllll?????? hahahahahaha I sat here and chair danced through Adams whole set! I loved every minute of it. FFS!! What's not to LOVE?? He rocks my world!! Why is anyone unhappy? If you go back a few years, we had the underwater stream with no visuals. UGH!!! hahahahhaa I can't even say the dudes name now...I know it, but won't utter that name. LMAO!! Adam rocked the house tonight!!! All is well in Adamland!! Rejoice and be happy!! The only thing I'm worried or stressed about is the east coast people that I love tonight. Please be safe and stay inside. We love you and are thinking of you right now!!!!! I also thought the sound checking may not have happened. Balance with back up singers seemed off. They were too loud in many places or perhaps it was just that there was some jaggedness in their voices. Perhaps they haven't quite blended yet.
