Haha, seoulmate!I always miss you, you make me smile. Sometimes even laugh out loud. I'm so happy about these concerts... and can't wait to see the other vids. But i have to say, this first performance of Underneath just killed me. So honest, emotional and open. Adam lays his heart out for all of us. What a gift.

I loved how Adam started the concert with IIHY since he ended it with this in Glamnation. He is such a storyteller, and I felt like this was his way of saying this is where we picked up from.
There was some discussion last night re the crowd cheering during Underneath as a sexual interpretation to the words "...you inside of me". I am happy to say that I think it was just the crowds reaction to amazing vocals and vulnerability coupled with approval of the lines as they are intended. The clapping, not whooping, begins with "no apologies".
And at risk of admitting it's not all light side with me, I am not a fan of the reggae OLL. It's pretty awesome in a fun way but to me this song is not one to have fun with. It has the potential to be a powerful moment/message and is at its best when sung raw. But I get how he used it as transition and so respect him for all the vision in this concert. It was a feast!

And I understand what you mean with OOL... the reggae twist kind of makes it more upbeat and dancy, rather than the poignant ballad we've been used to... I had to suddenly re-align my few remaining brain cells!!! But as a transition, I think it worked!
