There was some discussion last night re the crowd cheering during Underneath as a sexual interpretation to the words "...you inside of me". I am happy to say that I think it was just the crowds reaction to amazing vocals and vulnerability coupled with approval of the lines as they are intended. The clapping, not whooping, begins with "no apologies". I missed that part of the discussion, but I agree with you. i think the audience is reacting to his emotional admission of his truth. His face tells us the story, and it is not sexual, he is showing us his vulnerability, his pain and his resolve. |
