According to wiki, the Pop categories for 2013 are: Best Pop Solo Performance Best Pop Duo/Group Performance Best Pop Vocal Album Best Pop Instrumental Album So it is definitely possible Coldplay would be in the Duo/Group category.

This category isn't televised, though, is it? (not that it really matters...) Yes. Pop album probably is. I wonder if ColdPlay would be in a group category? I BELIEVE!!!! I think ColdPlay is almost a sure thing for Pop album; but they could also get nominated in additional group categories.

I am on a roll here. It looks like Usher won two Grammys year before last in the R&B categories for Himself and the Looking 4Myself album was nominated for a 2012 AMA in the R&B category. So maybe we could eliminate him on category and recent win.
ETA: Bullsfan, you have a point. One is performance and one is album. I guess Coldplay stays in.

Listen to the mustn'ts, child. Listen to the don'ts. Listen to the shouldn'ts, the impossibles, the won'ts. Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me... Anything can happen, child. Anything can be.

LOL, they are getting harder to eliminate because "I want Adam to win" is not a criteria.
