To tell you the truth, how many albums could Pia really sell? If she had the fan club on AI, she'ld still be on the show. Yup, you're right, smokeyvera, she didn't have the fanbase. I'm not a fan of any particular contestant this year. My curiosity was based, well, in curiosity. Could she have amped it up given a bit more time? Dunno. Moot point now. It will be interesting if she has a record deal how that will turn out. Crazy, competitive, wicked business, the music industry. I am so glad Adam waited until he felt he was seasoned enough to know who he was as an artist before auditioning. Being catapulted into the mega-celebrity world so quickly, handling so many new responsibilites and performing one brilliant concert after another...he has shown time and time again such grace under pressure. One in a gazillion, that man.

Gelly, you really are amazing! (This from the person whose children and husband took bets on how long it would take her to notice when husband shaved off his goatee. They finally couldn't contain themselves and brought it to my attention after about a week, haha).
I love that Leno interview.
