Sorry to hear that you're not feeling well Rihannsu, and that Jablea has a bum ankle! I certainly know what that's all about! Mine started hurting again about a month ago, after finally being good for several months, but fortunately it only lasted for a few days and has been good since. Hope things improve quickly for you too! And good luck with the job hunting!
Well, my first time checking in in 2 weeks. I'm up .4 lbs since my last check-in, which is actually a big relief as I anticipated being up much more than that. The last 6 weeks have had way too many outings, family visits and special events, including way too much food, and I've been going up and down. The next little while looks much quieter so I seriously need to get back on track to get to the next stage before we get into Christmas stuff, where I know I'll be eating more than usual. I was just reading something yesterday too about shaking up your exercise routine as when it becomes easier you don't burn as many calories. I'm going to a first ever yoga class next Monday. Never done it before, so don't know if it's for me and how much of the exercises I maybe cannot do, so we'll see how it goes.
I don't know how you guys handle the "ungodly hot" weather Juniemoon! I suppose you get used to it like anything else, but I'm sure I'd be a limp dishrag!
Wishing everyone a great and healthy week!

Only down .2 lb but not surprised as I haven't done any walking in over a week. Between being sick over the weekend and real life getting in the way I haven't managed a single walk. :(

Well, I'm down .8 lbs this week, which isn't too bad considering I binged out early in the week. I'm sure the increased exercise helped that. Down about 23 lb. all together and we are heading into the last (brutal) 2 months of the year. So much temptation, so little time!!!

Wednesday - Check in DayI tell ya, if it's not one thing it's another. I think I figured out the ankle thing. My coidal bone (little cube bone that sits in amoung the toe bones, was hung up. Found a you tube video which included pressing on the bottom of my foot while bending the toes over which has mostly taken care of it. Now to quote Sam on Cheers I have a groin injury. No idea how I came by it either. I'm falling apart. On the good news side I've been busy and so not eating as much which means losing weight, yay!

Gosh, guys, can 2013 just get over already? Crud and injuries for our little band of strivers. Ready for a new start and intense forward motion. stardust, I am really impressed with your 23 pounds!!!
Speaking of intense forward motion, I did well on my walking this week. I achieved my goal of making 1.5 miles in 30 minutes consistently. Now I am on to phase 5 (of 12) in my Texercise walking program -- the same distance in 29 minutes! I made that once this week so now the goal is to do it consistently.
I also made it aerobics twice this week. I do feel the goal oriented exercise is making a difference already in how I feel, and hope to continue to make progress throughout the winter and spring.
I also got a great farm basket last week. We ate the cherry tomatoes straight up, and made the butternut squash into a yummy casserole that we had twice this week. We did get more okra, which I am serving tonight, oven roasted with just a little olive oil and seasoning salt. Good stuff.

Glad to hear your ankle issue is mostly solved Jablea, but what the heck with the groin injury! Don't you just hate that when these kinds of things happen and you don't know how or what you did wrong! So frustrating!
Way to go Juniemoon!
I tried the yoga class this week but don't think it's for me. My ankle was actually hurting for a couple of days afterwards and I was a bit dizzy at the end of the class (I do have vertigo issues) so as I don't want to aggravate either of those issues, I won't be going back. I'll stick to my walking/curling and the occasional exercises I do at home, which haven't caused the same problems.
Lost exactly 1 lb. since last week, so that's the first time I'm down in several weeks now, so finally heading back in the right direction! Onwards and downwards! Hope everyone else is also hanging in there!

I lost 1.2 lbs from last week. Haven't walked hardly at all the last couple of weeks so when Wendy and I walked Monday we only did 4.5 miles but we were both sore. LOL. Gonna have to work our way back up again.

Hi All!! I just realized that I forgot to check in on Friday. I was up 1 lb., but after being on vacation with family, I was afraid that it might have been lots worse. Managed to get it back off already. Back to work!!!

Wednesday - Check In
Well, I'm losing, down 2 this week, don't know why because the exercise isn't there. I've even missed my trainer workouts. Leg still giving me some problems if I try to stretch it out. It's like the bad side (with the pulled whatever way up there) is longer than the other leg. I walked around the other day with just one shoe on. But I'm not getting the sharp twinges I was so hoping for the best. I've got a bowling gift certificate I need to use so dang leg better get better.
At least with Thanksgiving I'll eat healthy. Sounds like an oxymoron or something doesn't it but all those different vegetables on the same table. It's good for you!
