Only lost .2 lbs this week. The weight loss definitely seems to be harder to come by lately. I'll just have to do better! It was raining this morning when it was time for my walk, so didn't go. Had another injury this week when I badly sprained the middle finger on my left hand. Did have xrays but I'm sure it's not broken as I'm able to manage ok with it, as long as I don't use it much. Seeing the doctor tomorrow for the results. Nice and purple though!
On the plus side, meeting Happy and Mszue for lunch today, the only Atoppers that live in my immediate area, so that will be fun!
Hope your leg keeps improving Jablea, and isn't it nice to lose the weight without trying!
See you all next week!

Sending good thoughts for your leg, Jablea! And have fun at your lunch, fiercelier! I'm jelly. We had terrible weather for four days this week so exercise was not what I hoped for. I did make it to aerobics once. I'm sticking with my walking goal as the weather here gets nice again. I was quite dedicated to my veggies. Made zucchini and persimmon bread which turned out great. The remaining zucchini I cooked at high temperature with a seasoned bread crumb topping. THe remaining persimmons I also cooked, with a honey topping. I made the slow cooker pears with raisins and tart lemon and apple juice again and they turned out great. The farm basket also included some fresh jalapenos. It's hard to know exactly what to do with them, but I put them some in corn bread which turned out great. I'm going to make a little cheese spread for crackers with them that we can nosh on over the holidays. Happy Thanksgiving everyone and don't forget to eat your veggies!!!! (stuffing is a vegetable, right?)

Down 1.4 this week and averaged 1/2 lb a week so far this month. Better than my last two months loss rate.

Happy Thanksgiving! This morning my weight was exactly 45 lbs down from my starting weight. So I promptly celebrated by going over 1000 calories over my goal. LOL But it was very satisfying.

That's awesome Rihannsu! Congratulations!
I can totally relate to the overdoing it part, and why not for once! Hope it all tasted great!

Wow rihannsu!!! You are doing fantastic!!! Weighted in today and was very afraid, although I tried to be reasonable on Thanksgiving. Was very surprised that I was down a little. I worked at it last week!! Unfortunately have a dinner/birthday tonight and another next week, as well as a banquet. This is a difficult time of the year!!!

Yay! Made it through Thanksgiving and still lost even though I ate all I wanted. Down .4 from last Wednesday. But I am still not back on track with walking. My innate laziness is kicking in and Wendy has not been able to walk with me much lately to goad me in to going. Gotta change that.

Sounds like everyone had a good Thanksgiving! I didn't make my walking a priority in the last week so not much to report on the exercise front.
I ate up everything from my farm basket except a couple of sweet potatoes which keep well. New farm basket today!

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving, sounds like the food was great at least! Here in Canada we had Thanksgiving so long ago already it seems. Not that we do the turkey etc. anyway, but most people do.
Turns out my finger has a fracture after all, one corner of the bone above the knuckle has a hairline fracture. So as much as possible I have it taped to my ring finger to help protect it and then it just has to heal on its own. It's a pain when I have so much stuff to do!
Finally had a good week again, losing 2.2 lbs and I've now finally surpassed the 50 lbs overall weight loss and am in the home stretch of the last 10. Haven't been for a walk yet today as it's -5 degree Celsius, which is 23 degrees F, so pretty darn cold for here. But it's sunny so I'll go in a little while.
Good to see everyone else doing well too!

Disaster has struck!!!! My scale has gone all wonky and it will be harder to stay on track without it!! I was down 2.2 lbs today, and I was rather surprised. I have to say that it is probably the increased exercising that is helping. Now comes the most dangerous time of the year and a bad time to be without a scale.
