The American Idol season 12 finale is shaping up to be an all-star alumni extravaganza, as Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson, a finalist from season three, and season eight runner-upAdam Lambert have both been approached to perform, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter. Neither has committed to the May 16 event yet.
I know Adam has said that he doesn't have anything to promote to be on AI, but call me petty I was gonna be some kinda pissed if they didn't at least ask him to be on this year. Smooths ruffled fur... |

O M G... Please.. please.. please... I would love to see his success story.. We've almost gave up that he's not going to be on Idol Where Are They Now... MY god. I just came in from outside doing some quick gardening...reading. and ADamme..my exacts thoughts. What happened to WHERE ARE THEY NOW? Since I haven't watched any AI since A8, HAVE THEY DONE snippets of past contestants. PLEASSEeeee let Adam be on the FINAL ..KEEPING FINGERS CROSSED and I don't give a shit what he sings, anything song will do lol although I really don't want to watch AI They don't call it "Where Are They Now?", but they have been having extended video packages showing what former contestants have been doing. The segments have been primarily presented as introductions when the contestant performs on the show, but last week they did one for LaToya London, and she didn't perform, although she was in the audience. |

Smooths ruffled fur... I am certain Adam has been asked to be on Idol this season. I think it is a matter of him agreeing to do Idol and agreeing on terms -- billing, budget, time, etc. I want to see him on Idol and I want him to be billed and presented as the international star he is.  I would be happy if he performed Trespassing, or Shady with Nile Rodgers and Sam Sparro, or The Show Must Go On with Queen, or anything from his first two albums, or a cover by any song ever written. I would be happy if he was just on my TV!! |

I've been crossing my fingers that Adam would be on Idol because it is great exposure, and is also THE FUNNEST THING IN THE WORLD to have him on TV. Now I am crossing my fingers that this story is true. If they haven't asked him it would have been a bit of an insult IMO. After all, he is the best that has ever graced that stage in a lot of people's opinion including mine of course.

I'm really busy but I HAD to peek in to flail over the POSSIBILITY of Adam on Idol Finale!!! Even if he should inexplicably refuse I will still love that they WANTED him. No one ignores AFL! I figure we'll find out SOON! ![]() </img> ![]() ![]() ![]() He should do something wild & crazy with great vocals! Or Shady with Nile! Or ANYTHING! |
