I agree. If this article is true, Adam is out. But a panel of Keith, JLo and Will.i.am? It looks like the new producing team is suffering from a huge lack of imagination. With the exception of J-Hud, the judges would be a panel of people who are reality show judging re-treads. Poor Idol. New cooks in the kitchen, serving up cold leftovers. :(

I don't understand why they fired people and brought in new guys. This is worse than what they came up with last year. It's like they came up with the most stale boring panel possible. It doesn't sound like they're making changes so I'm fine if Adam isn't a judge. He has other great things going on and may be better off doing cool stuff like the Avicii collab. I would like to know how things are label-wise.

After reading my Google Alerts last night with all the talk of Katy Perry's promotion for her new album and that big ass gold truck, I noticed that all the articles mentioned Adam's Tweet. Now that wouldn't be such a big deal since he Tweets about other artists all the time, but this time Adam was being given credit not only for the photo itself (which we now know he didn't take) but a lot of breathless "WOW, even ADAM LAMBERT is helping Katy by Tweeting about her album!" kind of comments by the authors (one article even ended with "Isn't Adam the best?"). That's implying some real clout. Katy has a triple platinum album, she's already a huge star, and now getting AFL's endorsement is big news, even headline worthy news. Sounds like Adam should be getting a "New-Found Respect" award of the year. Finally!

I think that the Avicii track is potentially worth more than Idol. Add in Glee and Queen and Idol is a nice to have... maybe.
On the Wrap rumor, this could be from Fuller's side and an attempt to forward JLo's case. If she get the deal she wants it is worth millions to Fuller- his company manages her.
He also managed Steven Tyler when he was a judge.

Carina @_ninni Protected account 8m I've uploaded lossless audio rips of the two Lay Me Down partials from Balaton Sound (good sound) - bit.ly/1bIZn6r Aww, that made getting up to face another pile of boxes to pack totally worth it! Thanks, best versions I've heard yet.

People related to Adam on this list: 57. Nile Rodgers rivals Mick Jagger as music's coolest man of pension age (I agree!) 82. Pharrell makes every man on the planet feel a little bit inadequate by being so damn cool (Based on what he said about working with Pharrell, I think Adam would probably agree.) And #34 is MKS (formerly Sugarbabes) - the girl group Shoshanna was here with a few weeks ago.

Idol is in an interesting place in it's evolution as a television show. The numbers are technically still very good, but it's seen more and more as a failure because it's losing viewers, it has fresher competition and it has all the tribulations of a popular show that's been around for awhile... everybody has an opinion.
I don't think who the judges are really makes much of a difference when it comes to the success of the show. And I don't think they ever really have. The popularity and effectiveness of the judges has always been more of a by-product of the show....not what makes it popular. The judges are there for people to love or hate, but it's not why they tune in, or tune-out, en masse.
Idol's ratings were huge in the beginning because the formula for the show worked. Randy, Paula and Simon were a fun, interesting new judging team. The show was a success, so they were a successful panel. They still had their detractors but it didn't matter because the show was huge!
Even though we have a revolving door of judges lately, I don't think you can blame the judges. They may be rediculous, and I personally have not enjoyed them, but for every 10 people who didn't like Steven tyler, there are 10 who did. I think people will get over the judges IF the SHOW is interesting. The Voice judges are pretty much the same types of artists as Idol's judges but the show itself is new and fresh so it's viewed in a more successful light.
I think Idol needs some new ideas. Having former Idols as judges MAY be a great idea and I would love to see Adam as a judge, but i'm skeptical that judges alone (unless it was something really different like an all Idol panel) will have much of an impact on this show.
I find myself getting kind of pissed as Adam seems to be yanked around with this juding thing. My personal opinion is he had all but signed on the dotted line last year and something went wonky with Randy Jackson needing to stay one more year. I'm so glad he didn't get it though, as I thought it was a weird, cooked, year of stacking the deck for a female winner.
I don't think he's been as close in the running this year. In my baised opinion, signing Adam would be one step in the right direction of somehting new and interesting.... but they aren't asking me. Not even a survey to complete!
Just my thoughts. (I'm usually wrong about my Adam guesses, so if he's already signed, sealed and delivered -- my streak continues.)
