Awwww, I just read the feed of the teenager Adam replied to last night. What an amazing thing for him to say to her! Damn, he is so incredible! It was a lovely thing wasn't it? Especially since it seemed to be something she isn't told often. It was almost like he knew exactly what she needed to hear. Yes! I read way down in her feed and before Adam's first tweet to us, she had been tweeting with some friends about how her mom made her feel like shit again. Sounds like low self esteem. Choosing her was an incredible thing for him to do. And doing it more than once, like a conversation, was very special. ![]() |

Someone asked earlier about Adam's puppet, thinking his was on a different side from the others...and I see from this pic that intact it is only Naya's that operates from the Left side and that is likely to keep them all in a consistent frame....easier to photograph...lol.... I think it's on her left hand because she is a lefty. |

OMG! I'm dying! Haha. I can't wait! And I can't wait for Chunkey's recap!! It's great we get the epic that is Adam and then fun extras like Chunkey's stuff! And Q3 I agree the puppets are happy making! |

Maybe by making his puppet left handed, he's controlling the puppet hand that closest to him so that there's less of the hand-controlling stick, um, sticking out across the puppet, especially if it's turning away from him to interact with the environment or others. For some reason, reminds me of the comments made about Adam's performance of Titanium during the American Idol finale - when he walked to end of piano, and turned around the "long way around", so as not to show his back to the audience/camera. Is there a similar thing here? |

I thought Katy looked lovely last night. I think the Japanese culture is beautiful. I feel so naïve because I never thought to ask myself "what is she trying to prove in that Japanese outfit?" Maybe I am not deep enough. So many words and thoughts over a beautiful Japanese dress. I know! I loved it too and thought the whole production was a beautiful homage to Japan. And Katy does have certain cultures she adores and is obsessed with. Like for instance, she got married in India & had many traditional things as part of her ceremony! Was that racist? I agree Katy's performance came from a place of respect for the Japanese culture, and is in a whole other category than Micky Rooney's portrayal of a Japanese American in Breakfast at Tiffany's for example. Adam was right, and the negativity to it was silly IMO. |
