On A3 vs. QAL....a couple thoughts:
1. The label has a lot, and I mean a whole lot, invested in this album. They will want it out in early 2015. Adam and Shoshanna both said Adam was headed back to the studio to finish his album IN SEPTEMBER.
2. Adam was the one who was not available to do the UK and Europe until 2015 so he could finish his album. He is talking about the album. He really must be close to done.
ASSUMING -- Album finished in October.....I can come up with many schedules that make sense.
MOST SENSIBLE TO ME:
Single released before Q+AL Tour -- November or late January would be good times. My money is still on November. That gives them time to release a second single if needed.
>> If the music is good, if the label invests the promo dollars, it will get airplay. We know Adam can his part unless he is out there performing a forgettable, formulaic track like BTIKM or NCOE. It does not sound like he is doing that.
Q+AL Tour -- 4 weeks before the album in released. January - early March. Adam does press in UK and Europe. Very important markets for him.
A3 -- Released March - May 2015.
I don't see that 4 weeks for Q+AL would change the release date a bit.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH - I have been working at my office 14 hour days like a mad woman due to a system conversion. Running to a meeting but had to pop on - just saw the news - SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FREAKING EXCITED !!!! I will have to catch up on the thread tonight - WOOT WOOT "System conversion" sent a chill down my spine.....
So excited to hear about UK and EU!!! I can't imagine that there would be too many tour dates.....
Question re Adam and A3 -- Let's say that A3 hits hard and a tour is imminent -- as I know nothing about timing and the music business, at what earliest point would a tour even be considered? Let's say two singles are released before the album is officially released.
I hope Queen changes the concert up a little -- White Queen, Liar, Ogre Battle to suggest a few. I wonder if Adam would change up his outfits!!
Loved the radio interview - I love Adam talking almost as much as I love Adam singing.
If you see someone dressed in leather and leopard; pushing a bedazzled shopping cart along the road; filled with refundable soda bottles -- just move along, it's only me saving up for Europe.
Love the bedazzled shopping cart.. Class all the way

At that time he will be working on the album with the goal of finishing it. Either way, I'm sure the deadline is pressing.

Well let's look at this logically, 2015 is 12 months....the UK/Europe tour won't be as long as the tour they just finished so they could easily tour after the release of the album and Adam could do promo over there while on tour. Two birds/one stone.
Plus if Adam's 3rd album has been released when they tour the press could mention it in every review.
I think it is entirely possible to do both next year.

I have never been overseas and HATE to fly but.........I want to go!!!! And may figure out way to do it.
In my dreams - we find out schedule and plan a tour trip around it. People could join up whenever. I would want to go to multiple concerts!!!!
I was lucky enough to see QAL in Chicago - best concert of my life - couldn't work around my work schedule to make any more concerts - and I wanted to follow them around.

The QAL publicity will be mentioning A3, I hope they'll include Adam's single, and may be the cloning technology will come thru just in time to have the A3 tour in 2015. *insert "Trust A Bitch" macro*
