I want A3! I want A3!
Having gotten that out of the way, I am thrilled with the news of the UK and Europe tour of QAL.
I know nothing about the industry, but in my mind, it all works together. Adam finishes recording A3 September-October. First single out in November. Post production business getting A3 ready for release thru end on 2014, and maybe Jan 2015. QAL around February-March 2015 with lots of PR overlap that helps promote A3 internationally. Maybe a second single that QAL includes in the concerts? A3 released around Feb-March of 2015. Gets stellar reviews, huge airplay and publicity for Adam being incredible front man for classic rock band AND being cutting edge new with his own CD. Who else can do both so impeccably?
All this prepares the way for A3 arena tour summer of 2015, fresh off smash hit tours of QAL. Oh, and he can pop in to Idol a couple of times to play new music and be a charming guest mentor, too. And a couple of Glee appearances. Just to prove he is a multidimensional artist who can do it all!
Works for me.

Hmmmm....Europe and UK.... UK may be doable, but I got into serious hot water with my folks for going to Hammersmith and NOT seeing relatives while I was there. So, if I go it will have to have a family component or I'll never hear the end of it. That said, I also have relations in Buenos Aires and Johannesburg...

Well let's look at this logically, 2015 is 12 months....the UK/Europe tour won't be as long as the tour they just finished so they could easily tour after the release of the album and Adam could do promo over there while on tour. Two birds/one stone. Plus if Adam's 3rd album has been released when they tour the press could mention it in every review. I think it is entirely possible to do both next year. There will be close to zero press in the US from a UK/EU tour. Oh, and I doubt Adam would ever do HS own music during QAL. Don't see that ever happening! But the fact that I am sad for me doesn't mean I am not happy for him!

Happy for those in Europe to get to see the tour. My thoughts are that with a QAL tour in the offing, Adam is going to have to finish off his album and not spend ages nitpicking over everything. I can't imagine that Adam would delay his own music again just to tour Europe with Queen so it must be feasable to get his own album out AND do QAL. I'll be staying here stateside, saving money for when Adam does concerts of his own new music. I will travel for that.

There will be close to zero press in the US from a UK/EU tour. That may be, but wouldn't it be nice for Europe to get to know him better before his album drops over there?

Fuck! No, seriously, FUCK! I take this to mean that you are concerned that any release of A3 and/or accompanying tour might be postponed to say 2016? I hope that doesn't happen. In my mind I was thinking an A3 tour in summer of 2015 with maybe a quick few shows in London with QAL sometime in 2015. It appears this will be a more comprehensive tour than I was thinking. Now, Jakarta in Oct 2015 as well. I'm torn......I love him singing with Queen.....but, I desperately want A3 more right now. Fingers crossed he can do it all in 2015. He can. He wants it all.

I have never been overseas and HATE to fly but.........I want to go!!!! And may figure out way to do it. In my dreams - we find out schedule and plan a tour trip around it. People could join up whenever. I would want to go to multiple concerts!!!! I was lucky enough to see QAL in Chicago - best concert of my life - couldn't work around my work schedule to make any more concerts - and I wanted to follow them around. Same here; never been to Europe. I really want to go but I'm making it worth my while by going to multiple shows.

I'm beside myself! The dream is still alive! I was hoping for a UK/EU tour and now it's official, so I have another chance to see them live! It will take some extraordinary steps to scrape the funds together, but I swear I'll find a way. Really hoping there'll be at least one Irish date - that would be perfect.
Does anyone know, is the Queen Forever album not going to be released in the US? There's no mention of it on the Amazon US website or on iTunes.
