Gelly, I've once been to Herodium, but unfortunately did not get to see a concert there. The place is magical, the same way as Delphi; you feel like you've been transported back to history. Aaaa postfestumpf Delhpi another great great venue, thank you for reminding me. Can you imagine being there at a night concert with the mountains surrounding you?And Adam's voice echo through the mountains...I have great memories from Delphi.. Ohhh tonight I am going to dream.....

With Q's blessing, the following has just been posted at twitter, where it so happens that Dream Concert is now trending world wide: tl.gd/9p78j8On Sunday 10th April 2011, @gntakeover said: Dream Concert @adamlambert at Carnagie Hall performing new music to be recorded, filmed, marketed, and distributed as 2nd album. A totally brilliant idea posted by Q3, adaministrator at Adamtopia on 4/10/11: I have a dream…well a fan-tasy…OK a plot! So I have cooked up a little plot. My special dream. Adam, I hope you are reading this today. It is a scathingly brilliant idea. Here goes….. Go ahead and create your new studio album. Then schedule a private concert. I’ll volunteer to put together the guest list. It will be packed with fans who will not wave their arms in front of the cameras or go “woot woot” during the pause in a ballad. Book a nice intimate concert venue with great acoustics. Line up a camera crew. I’m sure VH1 would leap at the chance to film a concert of your new album before it was released. And then release three albums at one time. You new CD (studio version), a live DVD, and the live CD. It would be epic. Now, you might think I am merely interested in getting a private concert for my best friends . But that is not really true. I just want – no I need – another live Adam Lambert CD. I want another CD that captures the energy and power of your live performances. At my core I am a marketer. Think about it – you can sell the regular CD, the live DVD + CD and the deluxe set of all three. What respectable Adam fan is gonna pass up buying all three for the shelf plus the deluxe set to actually play. (RCA marketing team – you know I am right about this – it would dramatically accelerate the profits on this project.) And think about the promotional possibilities I can see it now. $$$$$$$$$$$$$. Call me. I’ll drop everything and just work on setting this all up. And I am sure that I know a few people who would help. So let me close with my fav slogan – when you dream, dream big! (And yes -- this was just a way to get a private concert for me and a "few" of my closest friends.) Read more: atop.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=daily&action=display&thread=271&page=1#ixzz1J83FLKRaQ, who last year fan-tasied about Adam's world tour before it was announced, has come up with a new idea, and I think it is totally brilliant. It must also be said that she works in the media industry, not sure what she does, but she is quite knowledgable about the whole music industry and radio. I LOVE it, and think it could happen if we all put it out to the universe, so please, tweet this to every Adam fan you know!!! I told Q that I will be her best friend forever if this happens, and will be there with glitter, feathers and bells on!!!! I have expanded the venue to include a few more Adam Lambert fans, yall can thank me later....... please retweet!

Thank you all so much! As much as I love writing about Adam, what I love even more is reading everyone's opinions, because they add a hundred more shades of meaning. Cassie, ITA that it is a conscious choice to approach life from a place of positivity. Though I will say optimism and pessimism seem to have a strong genetic component as well. Adam seems to be one of those people gifted with a predisposition to be positive. Midwifespal, I love your whole post! You make so many excellent points, and I especially agree with this: IMO these underprivileged groups aren't really playing at anything, they ARE victims, they are victimized by history and by the rest of our culture, and they don't need to do anything special to earn that distinction. There is simply no hiding from the fact that, as you, NoAngel, of course readily agree, this is an unequal country. We have a powerful myth in America: the myth of the individual and his self-determination, of equality of opportunity--that if each of us just tries our hardest we can be anything we want to be and do anything we want to do. But as Adam's experiences in Hollywood in the decade leading up to his radical decision to go on Idol prove, the playing field is not level, no matter the talent involved. Absolutely true, MWP. I've studied institutional racism in health care, and agree 1000% that the playing field is not level, and that the American dream is an impossible one for many people who have done nothing wrong other than be born into a disenfranchised social group. And from what I gather, Jacob comes from a challenging past, and huge kudos to him for his bravery in trying out for AI and putting himself out there. I still go back to this-- there is a time and a place for everything. Jacob has a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to present himself to viewers and win a fanbase (even if he doesn't win the show). Yet he seems to have already made up his mind that, 1) he is talented enough to win, 2) viewers are prejudiced, and 3) if he doesn't win, it is not his fault. All this might make it easier for him to cope if he is voted off, but I don't see how it helps him win fans. Yes, the cards are stacked against him. And yes, it should be talked about. But it's counterproductive to do so now, when he should be laser-focused on one thing-- showing everyone watching how absolutely amazing he is, and blowing our minds with his talent and passion.

This. I might have been more sympathetic about Jacob's statement if he had been voted off and made a point about racism then. It is certainly valid to wonder if racism has played a part in the vote. (Although, as someone at TWoP pointed out, it's likely that if you took a poll of African-American Idol viewers, you'd find that they vote more often for the African-American contestants. Is that racism too?) Jacob also could have said something about racism without adding that there would be no other reason for him to be in the bottom three. I personally can't stand his vocals or over-the-top emoting. I don't like Haley's growling either, so obviously I (and I think most of the viewers) have our preferences which are not based on race at all. We're allowed.

We all love Adam's relentless positive attitude. Sometimes we are guilty of thinking, "He is BLESSED with a positive attitude." Or, "He is blessed with a supportive family." Or, "He is so lucky to be in his position, and see all his dreams come true." Or, "He is blessed with a natural talent." In reality, Adam has always had battles to fight, as we all do. He has always worked tirelessly for the opportunities he has made for himself. He meets just as many asshats every day as all the rest of us. He gets sick, he gets tired, he beats his head against walls, he gets his heart broken, he gets disrespected and maligned unfairly, just like everyone else. He CHOOSES to maintain a positive attitude of gratitude. He CHOOSES to find the positive in people and circumstances. He CHOOSES to speak words of encouragement and appreciation. He CHOOSES to be non-judgmental of other performers and to find joy in their work. He CHOOSES to be collaborative instead of egocentric. He CHOOSES to look forward with excitement, not backwards with regret. He CHOOSES to learn from experience and incorporate it into his art. We sell him short if we don't recognize that Adam is who he is due to his will and his choices, not due to his circumstances and luck. This is one of the many ways following Adam has impacted my life. After reading and watching just about everything Adam that exists out there in the public domain, okay, in some cases multiple times, LOL, he lives these choices so remarkably well. He walks the walk, and he reminds me to walk it with him, and he shows me that, for the most part, doing that pays off and makes his own life better. His countenance and energy nearly always reflect light rather than darkness; people who meet him and who work with him actually feel inspired to make remarks about how much they like Adam the person, and fans who see what he is about really love him, enough to contribute to his charities, buy what they didn't know they wanted, and even buy what they definitely know they don't want, thinking of some tour merch here, LOL, and who will stick with him for the long run. And like you said, the reason his choice to act the way he does is so inspiring is because it hasn't been easy. That has been obvious even in the time I have been following him. That being said, without taking anything away from Adam, having the will to choose to be positive itself is more of a struggle for some people than for others. I have seen this in the lives of my family members. I do not know Jacob or his circumstances and/or how hard this might be for him personally. I know he faces prejudices that are full of hate, and that shows like AI make him more of a target for them, and so I hope he keeps Adam's force field up during his AI experience and beyond. I have nothing against Jacob, or earlier Pia; they both, by contrast, just highlight some of the things that make Adam so remarkable to me.

I hope he does, too. And I'm sure he has done that, a lot, to get to where he is already.
I knew, as did the producers (!), that Jacob's comment would get buzz. And I face-palmed -not because I was at all offended on behalf of the audience but because I thought, "oh, Jacob, why did you say that now?" Of course, there's an answer to that - but I don't know it.
He's not Adam, but Adam's many and varied exceptionalities make him such a tough, tough standard to be measured against.
This is Lusk's latest tweet:
"Good morning....woke up thankful....I dare not complain... "
