Q3--how do you sign in to the blog; do you have to register first? I'm assuming you have to be signed in to make a comment. Thanks!

OK I changed the link at the top of the page to the blog and it now take you to the blog without a popup and has scroll bars. Use the back arrow on your browser to get back here.

Click on the Sign In link in the upper right. You can set up a new ID or use any Google ID. There is no way to link that ID database to the Forum.

Questions about the new site -
Your "About Adamtopia" says that you reserve the right to edit posts. I used to use visit a blogger on blogspot about 5 yrs ago and he said you cannot edit the posts, only delete them. Is it different now?
Are anonymous comments still allowed?
The entries that come from here to there - will you be asking permission?
How is blogspot easier to find than proforums?

ETA: Linda, I PM'd you with a link to an Austin-American Statesman op-ed that has me all up in arms about this subject, LOL. I too think that the American myth of the individual and self-determination is a double-edged sword, especially in the last several years it has in some respects blinded people to increasing gaps in wealth, education, opportunity and made them look to themselves for personal failings, or blame others in the same economic boat as opposed to trying to change huge systematic problems. How many of us in the US have been impacted by the recession and housing collapse? How many have had their real income stagnate for years now? 400 people in the US own half of the countries wealth, and the top 10% own 90% of the countries wealth. How much of the pie is left for the low-income but hard-working and positive individual to get a piece of? Horatio Alger would be scratching his head right now... midwivespal - I'd love to read that article too, if you pm me. Bringing this back to Adam, yes, for you, me, our family members, Jacob, and Adam himself, moving past injustices and remaining optimistic, taking personal responsibility in spite of the circumstances, in general keeping our positive #forcefieldup often allows us to overcome, to bring forth an extraordinary performance and triumph. It's a useful survival and success strategy. But even when it looks like incremental change is happening organically in this country, there is always a group of people behind the scenes pushing, agitating, demanding, organizing and actually fighting for each tiny legislative and cultural victory. We've watched Adam push at boundaries and get slapped back, then push again, and again, and again until eventually they start to crumble a bit, so that one day the guy on guy kiss on TV will eventually become unremarkable if still rare. --- ETA: here's the fact check on the 400 people have more wealth than half of all American's combined. Originally stated by Micheal Moore (yes, I know...) but fact checked after much discussion by economists contacted by Politifact as "true" - www.politifact.com/wisconsin/statements/2011/mar/10/michael-moore/michael-moore-says-400-americans-have-more-wealth-/
