It looks like everyone but me can to the blog through the link at the top of the page. What in the world am I doing wrong? And why does the link in Q's comment work? I am a tech failure I'm afraid. I just tried something to see what you're saying here. I use Chrome and I changed it to Firefox. It seems that with firefox I can have access through Q3's link but I can't have access through the link, it shows a page just like you said that I can't scroll.Maybe try using another browser? I am in Firefox- I bet that's it. I'll try chrome and see what I get. |

I use Foxfire and went to the link at the top of the page. I don't see a way to scroll, but I could "page" up and down, no problem. (face palm) how didnt I think of this? Yes you can do it with page down with firefox not scroll thank you!  |

What is the purpose of the blog if it is a duplicate of what is posted here? It's a blog, not a messsage board. It will be easy for "outsiders" to accesss and read intelligent blogging. (I think) You can still leave comments. So it doesn't seem much different. I don't know if blogspot allows smiley's and birthday banners in posts. That's the only diff I know so far. Are we looking to have a cleaner blog? |

When Adam stays home -- we all get kind of wonky. So I for one and very happy when he is working and partying and staying really busy! Can someone else let me know if you can get to the blog at: adamtopiablog.blogspot.com/Yes, I can get to it using this link and scroll to read the page. However, if I use the link at the top of the page (above the chat link), I can get to the blog but cannot scroll. |

I am fixing the code for the like at the top of the page to enable scrolling -- but it opens a new window so if you block popups you need to click on the bar at the top of your browser.
And the reason for creating the blog was to post the best articles from PF and ATop archives in an easy to read format -- and to broaden exposure to some of the amazing articles posted over the past year and a half, and in the future. I am not interested in pushing non-Adam fan traffic to this forum but have no problem broadly promotion the Adamtopia Blog once it is populated with the archives.

Perhaps it made Jacob feel better to spout off a bit, but I don't think it was wise. His focus should be "eye on the prize" and he should be aware that "likeability" goes far in this competition. Justified or not, his comments turned me off to him. I don't like to participate in anyone's "pity party" and that's how it came across to me. He needs to pull up his big boy drawers and get back to work - no more complaints or excuses - after all, the public that he put down is the same public that could vote him in. Wise up, Jacob. I agree. He didn't just say there was racism in the voting; he said that racism in the voting was the only reason anyone would fail to vote for him. I'm not voting for anyone this year, but if I were, it wouldn't be for Jacob because I don't like his singing. Suck it up, Lusk. Oh, I dunno, murly. He didn't say "anyone." He probably just meant some people, and some people is enough. I certainly never meant to imply that anyone not voting for Jacob is not voting for Jacob because they are, either consciously or unconsciously, racists. That would be ridiculous, and I haven't seen his performances except for a snippet or two, but I'm sure there's a lot not to like about them. I agree he could have phrased it better, but nevertheless, it need not be true that everyone voting against him was racially motivated, as long as some people voting against him (and all the other minorities already kicked off) were, even subconsciously, racially motivated. To relate this to Adam: I'm sure many many of the people who voted for Kris in the finale weren't homophobes. I'm sure many many people liked Kris' singing better, weren't really into Adam's over-the-topness, weren't into wonderfully wailing rock, or simply really loved what Kris brought to the show. However, some people clearly voted against Adam because he was gay, and I think its very likely that enough people voted for that reason to tip the scales in favor of Kris. That is: Adam lost to Kris because of homophobic, bigoted voters, even if many non-prejudiced people simply happened to prefer Kris anyway, and voted totally honorably. |
