On a totally shallow note, since the final numbers are in for charity:water. Is there anybody here who was in the first e-mail batch that has NOT received your photo of Adam yet?? Yeah, I know, I said I was good either way if I received or not, but I LIED!!!  I have not received mine yet. |

Bamafan! I finally got a chance to watch the Club Nokia DVD you gave me and it is glorious! Thanks to you, your son, and to cos2mwiz, and to Adam for putting on such a wonderful show! Thanks Lynneville ! Those close-ups on a big HD tv are awesome...omg the encores !!! I want to thank you too for the TV appearances DVD. I watched it this past weekend It was fun revisiting all the cool outfits and hair styles. lol (I'm glad you included this year's Idol perf. too) |

I was thrilled to have been in the first batch of e-mails thinking selfishly that I would be one of the first to receive mine, but sadly, not yet. As long as I know that I'm not alone, it makes me feel betterer. Maybe when I stop looking for it in the mail box each day.....it'll appear. , you too???? Thanks for all the replies..I am surprised so many have not received them. Nice to know I am not alone in a crazy sort of way..gahhh...  ETA: Whoever fixed the smilie board, THANKS!!  |

SUGAREE ,so glad you find us brits hillarious , MRS BROWN is amazing have tix to the show in dublin on 23 rd april so looking forward to it also saw RUSH mentioned earlier on in the thread today ,i will be at thier concert in newcastle on 21st may in newcastle a friend got 2 tix amazing musicians but unfortunatly i struugle with the singers voice 9cant rememmber his name ) its just to thin. theb only other fandom ive ever been involved with is RONNIE JAMES DIO CASSIE i would really love to hear what u think of his voice , His voice is ...... surprising. I went digging through YT and heard some very early, non-metal crooning. A warm, light tone with pleasing vibrato. I also listened to some metal song that had a slow interlude in the middle that showed he has a strong, pure tone in his mixed register with good head resonance and, again, a nice vibrato. Of course, during most of the metal singing he is squeezing his voice a whole hella lot to get that raw, raspy sound --- probably played hell on his vocal cords over the years. But, he has very good pitch and lots of power. He knows how to hit the notes without pushing his chest voice and straining. The rasp is added, not a by-product of trying to hit the note. Range, not so great in the little I heard. Sustain, not much, but it could be the style of music. Breath support good on short phrases. Does that help? |

Another show, I think it was Nine to Five (not 100% sure anymore) was supposed to get the Tony but due to some behind-the-scenes politics, Nine to Five was "punished" and Constantine got the Tony. We have a weekly show called "Theater Talk" here in NYC that has diff critics/actors/producers who talk about the shows. At the time, they basically thought Constantine's win was a joke. When Adam was on Idol, Constantine mentioned in the press how Adam had auditioned for Rock of Ages but he, Constantine, was the one who got the part. |
