I find the whole Today Show piece outdated and offensive in itself. What could be offensive about a mother playing with her child (of any gender)? It would be socially acceptable if the mother was busy and the child was set in front of the TV eating junk food!
There is nothing news worthy about the whole today show segment. It makes me angry that they considered "controversial" for a boy to paint his nails on a day a mother drove her car into a lake with her children in the car.

Abelsanchez zǝɥɔuɐs ןǝqɐ @adamlambert FYI For your fans jumping all over my case it wasn't meant 2b malicious, it was supposed to be witty thassall 1 minute ago LOL; I was wondering how long it would take his Twitter feed to explode. Witty? I don't think so. You know, in all seriousness, I wonder if the irritated response from the already-large-and-growing-larger Glambert population which occurs when these "jokes" are invoked are starting to really make a difference. It may be me, but I notice that DJs and others who regularly have made snarky gay jokes are making them a bit less. When you get "called on" publicly every time you make a veiled bigoted joke, it makes it less ok to engage in that kind of humor. I think some public figures are periodically thinking a bit harder about their "humorous" topics.

Kris Allen got an acting job on Gigantic...WTFIT? I can't believe that some producer would NOT look at AFL and see the potential of putting him on the screen... Thank the universe that Adam's acting debut is not on a TV Disney show! I would cringe at the cheeziness. It fits Kris perfectly though (and I do not mean that in a mean way.) Didn't Kris basically play himself? I haven't recovered from Steven Tyler being on a Disney show, maybe Hillary Duff's, years ago. Adam does not need a cheesy, I like that word, guest starring spot, but a legitimate, character role that has nothing to do with him being "rak supah stah" Adam Lambert. When the right one at the right time comes up, he will know.

I love when he uses words. Go boy Go! Re: men wearing pink a few decades ago. Last week my husband reminded me that when we first met he was wearing a pink and aqua polo shirt and aqua parachute pants and he was the hottest guy in town. No one cared about colour (or parachute pants apparently) then.
