LOL; I was wondering how long it would take his Twitter feed to explode. Witty? I don't think so. You know, in all seriousness, I wonder if the irritated response from the already-large-and-growing-larger Glambert population which occurs when these "jokes" are invoked are starting to really make a difference. It may be me, but I notice that DJs and others who regularly have made snarky gay jokes are making them a bit less. When you get "called on" publicly every time you make a veiled bigoted joke, it makes it less ok to engage in that kind of humor. I think some public figures are periodically thinking a bit harder about their "humorous" topics. I agree, its about time! |

I tend to agree Hopper but I hope they are responding to ALL such remarks and not just those aimed at Adam as that will really be most effective. That said, the comment could have been taken either way... that's how it started with Adam to mean OMG he turned out gay what a shame or that's how it started with Adam and look how amazing he turned out.... It's a fact that Adam's parents were open and supportive of his choices as a child and you can be sure that Leila would've and probably did paint his nails for him. To me that says good things given the fantastic human being he's turned out to be. |
