First, thank you to everyone for all of the birthday wishes! Even though I don't have as much time to spend here as I used to, I love the community here. It was so great last summer (when I DID have the time) to meet so many of you! Regarding PF - I loved PF, but I also love Adamtopia. I agree with those who have commented that times change, and we move on. [Or as Cassie paraphrased, "pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start all over again"] But there are things that I do miss - the silly things that we created there - I really miss the critters. And db's rock somehow kept expanding - I think it had a large party patio towards the end. But then, again, I also enjoyed watching everyone bounce off the walls in the padded room before we moved from MJ's.  |

..no time to follow the thread today, but I did scan the last couple of pages and I am kinda perplexed: why is it "either-or" choice of the board? Why can't one contribute to several boards? Have friends on several boards? It is great that Rowe created another place devoted to Adam - the more the better  ah, you are wise beyond your posting years. there is no disloyalty to be part of more than one site. |

Speaking of Adam 8-) I really would like a whereabouts update....a nice public pic from wherever. Do y'all think he may have gone to LasVegas or maybe on to NYC undetected? Or could he be just immersed in work? It' seems like forever since the NNN awards. I really don't think Adam will follow Sauli around. He has lots to do to get this album ready. Bet he is somewhere working his tail off so he will have free time when Sauli comes back!! YAY!! for Adam #2!!! |

Thanks for saying what I feel so well and so succinctly. I loved PF and was sorry to see it disappear - but then Adamtopia and Q3 appeared to take its place in my heart... Now Adamtopia is my link to Adam, and the clever, warmhearted, fun people who follow Adam. I just love this place, and all of you!

1. PF was a precious gift shared by wonderful people. Some gifts last a lifetime. Others are perishable, and fade away quickly. Others die a slow, withering death. Can we just celebrate the gift that was given? Can we just be grateful for the giver and the fellow participants? If some of it can be resurrected, all the better. Do I seem like an ungrateful person? I have celebrated on many occasions the gifts we have been given through PF, Q3, and Adamtopia. I am not an ungrateful person. I respect that you have had a different experience and thus have different feelings. I can't expect everyone to understand how I feel, but hopefully we can respect everyone's right to feel the gambit of emotions and to share the gambit with fellow Atopians. I totally understand how you feel, Skylar. I was shocked at the way things were handled. And how the board disappeared while we were on-line, in a concert thread, during the concert. Poof!  The only thing I know now is that I totally trust Q3 and know it will never happen here. |

animatedQ3 is one of the 1% whose photobucket account is not ready yet that's why we dont have pretty on the banner. :( I will switch to uploading the photos to my own server next weekend. I will not have time to do it before that. But I cannot believe that I am so blessed to still be Adamless!!! Photobucket -- WTF?!??!??! Q3 - is there any way you can set up a new photobucket until you get your old one back? If you need pictures I'm pretty sure we can probably manage to find one or two pictures of Adam some where for a banner. |

PF was started by Pat, but became our home. The members were the heart of PF, and all their thoughts and dreams for him at the start of his career are archived there. I remember so many fun times, and thoughtful, intelligent discussions. I, for one, would love to have access to all that again. Would love to "walk down memory lane" with all of you. Oh well, we will make memories here. We will flail, and angst, and post all the sexaay, and maybe even cry. And Q3, and NoAngel will entertain us on Sunday mornings. Here's to ADAMTOPIA and all ATOPPERS. You are the best!  |
