No angst for me. Just happiness that we're all here. Who cares what else is out there? We're not going to move or change our allegiance, so it doesn't bother me one bit. There is a universe of Adam fans out there. We've staked a claim on a shooting star and made Planet Fierce a better, more utopian place. I'm proud to be an Atopian. Me too, Aloha! Thanks, Q3, for making Adamtopia possible!!! I have such gratitude for being able to share good times and invigorating discussion with all of you.  |

Too many AWESOME posts to mention, but I will say, Cassie, NoAngel, Aloha and Skylar, I agree with every single word. For everything there is a season and for those of us who were with Planet Fierce from the beginning, the name is truly representative; we were fearlessly branching out and staking our own claim in an unexplored, tenuous world. It was wildly fun, creative and exciting. I loved it. I loved the roles Rowe and Q3 played as much as I loved my own and all the "colonists" of our little world. Some have disappeared forever ( Dhunken and possibly Halfie and Sunn) One is permanently gone. One doesn't want to be found and one we're very worried about. Whatever the equation, make no mistake ... online communities are VERY REAL. I love the people I've met through this experience as much (truth be told, probably more) as anyone I know in RL. We share so much. So much joy and worry, ideas and conversation, we cover the gamut from shallow-end flail to life-affecting experiences. Whether it's the death or birth of a loved one, a sick family member or pet, the loss or gain of a job, we ALWAYS know we have someone to talk to here. People may not be able to respond as quickly as we'd hope, but turns out, we find they are always reading and feeling what we feel right along with us. We have built a community and we can be moved geographically, but you cannot break the bonds that have occurred because we connected. I adore you all and you have made my life so much richer. I've never laughed so much, felt so connected or had as much fun as when I discovered or helped form an online community. I find the entire experience awesome and wouldn't trade it for the world. LOVE IT. It's been a blast and still is. Can't wait for the next turn around the roller coaster and so glad you are all on this ride with me. |

1. PF was a precious gift shared by wonderful people. Some gifts last a lifetime. Others are perishable, and fade away quickly. Others die a slow, withering death. Can we just celebrate the gift that was given? Can we just be grateful for the giver and the fellow participants? If some of it can be resurrected, all the better. Do I seem like an ungrateful person? I have celebrated on many occasions the gifts we have been given through PF, Q3, and Adamtopia. I am not an ungrateful person. I respect that you have had a different experience and thus have different feelings. I can't expect everyone to understand how I feel, but hopefully we can respect everyone's right to feel the gambit of emotions and to share the gambit with fellow Atopians.  I totally understand how you feel, Skylar. I was shocked at the way things were handled. And how the board disappeared while we were on-line, in a concert thread, during the concert. Poof!  The only thing I know now is that I totally trust Q3 and know it will never happen here. Thank you! ITA! HUGE LOVE TO AND FOR Q3. |

I totally understand how you feel, Skylar. I was shocked at the way things were handled. And how the board disappeared while we were on-line, in a concert thread, during the concert. Poof! The only thing I know now is that I totally trust Q3 and know it will never happen here. Thank you Q3.I will never forget how suddenly lost and alone I felt when PF went dark. In a panic of sorts, I searched around in cyberspace for fellow PF'rs. We were advised by Rowe to find another Adam board, but I didn't know where to go until I finally wound up at the fan club and some kind soul had posted a link to a new Adam board that Q3 had created - Adamtopia. Couldn't wait to get here and then when I saw some familiar names and faces I was so happy I cried. I love this board and those who dwell within. 8-) |

Just a comment on the return of PF -- the only thing that has anything to do with me on that blog is I designed the logo that Rowe has used on the new blogsite. I would love to have access to many of the threads on the old forum -- particularly the numbers threads, original articles and the concert thread. Many people put a huge amount of time into creating them -- but no one spent more time than me putting together an accurate record of everything Adam for a year. But, I have moved on. I get great joy from this site. I have no commercial aspirations. I do not want to "monetize" this site or build my journalistic career. I just want to have a bit of fun and enjoy this amazing community. I wish Rowe the best but this is perfect for me. It is a real 'topia. |
