So sorry for all involved, both the band and the audience!
Of course not knowing any details of his condition, but I should think they'd be on much safer side is they'd cancel Milan too. Especially if there's a possibility for a rescheduled date later. Usually these things take time and by friday he might be over the worst if he stays put resting etc. Perhaps after that Brian and Roger could do a song each (TYMD, RGG ?) to alleviate Adam's load and allow for the tour to continue as planned.

I really feel sorry for all the fans who's been waiting for tonight for months and had spent some money to see them. The travel cost on top of the tickets. Whenever I have to fly to see Adam I've always worried something happened with the flight, the train or the transportation that could stop or delayed me from seeing him on stage. Never thought about the concert itself being cancelled. :(

Alexander Morner @alexandermorner @adamlambert and you haven't let us down. You can't help getting sick sweetie. <3 Dan @scubadan21 So sad tonight's show is canceled. But we all understand. Sorry for those who are missing their show but very relieved that next show is cancelled...not worth any long term damage to the chords...Get really well soon, ADAM.....

I've been kind of worried about Adam the last week. such an intense concert schedule,.. back to back shows, travel to all different cities ,snow sleet, cold, lots of folks sick in the audience. Brian with the flu.. Adam was probably sick for a bit and finally succumbed..The hardest working man in show business.. he barely ever stops working.. I looked at his schedule ,at one point for the last 5 plus years, and I couldn't believe it.I think he could count the days off on two hands. I will be so happy when the Queen plus Adam Tour is over ,people love it forever and Adam goes home to sunny California. He's our guy and we need him healthy

I need to read the thread frontwards instead of backwards before posting! Double posted the bronchitis info. Thanks adamme.
Topical for me as when I smoked I got bronchitis at least once a year, dreadful, because for me it manifested with lethargy long after the initial symptoms were gone. Things that interfere with your breathing are awful.
Hoping that Adam, with the best of care and hopefully nothing to do but rest, steam, hydrate when he is not on stage will be able to complete the tour. I know he is making decisions based on the long term health of his instrument, and I think that is the right thing to do.
Although my heart goes out to the fans, especially the Queen fans, who don't get to see the show. Adam will have many many more shows, but who knows about Queen, or Queen plus Adam Lambert.
Repeating the sentiment already expressed that Adam feels the love and understanding from the fans, and the support of the band.

AFL at the TOP of his game: Hamburg

This is a great vid, and one of Adam's better performances of this song, not saying it is the best one out there.
AFL last night in Frankfurt, he doesn't have the same level of intensity on this song and now we know he was probably feeling pretty bad. (not a great vid)

Still................ We know that this is not Adam at his best, but to someone that hasn't seen Adam perform before this is pretty damn impressive. His voice is still gorgeous, and you would never know he was sick.
KUDOS to you Adam, you are the ultimate showman and performer, you gave it your all. Anyone else would have been in bed under the covers. Hope you stay there till you are feeling WELL. ETA: if you are so bored staying in bed that you happen to check in here, please know we all love you, are so very proud of you, and hundreds of thousands of Glamberts are sending you healing energy and love and light and our heartfelt wishes for your speedy recovery!

Gosh, I had a chronic bronchitis more than a decade ago and had it for 2 years. I cough so badly if affected the pressure on my eyes and the doctor said if this keep going on it could cause blind. The cough caused some damage to my throat. For 2 years my throat couldn't accept anything that's not soupy. I'm sure what Adam has now are different than mind so hopefully we can expect him to be on stage again on Tuesday. It's Milan, Italy. Adam loves Milan. Who knows why they chose the specific words they used. Likely so as not to disappoint fans. Not saying that they lied- just saying that such announcements are usually carefully worded and approved by PR people for a reason.
