LOL! So other top pop guys and gals are growing their followers in many thousands a day and you (collective you) decide to ignore the huge difference because it's "passe"? IF Adam were to grow at 26k/day as LG is doing would you've had the same attitude? Snapchat is the new big thing now...OK.. Do we know how Adam is doing there? I just started using it so I have very little feel for the app... google tells me there is some kind of "score":" Your Snapchat score is a special equation combining the number of Snaps you've sent and received, Stories you've posted, and other factors." I can't find any way to track the number of friends for anyone but myself... Instagram was mentioned as the most popular app in the linked article. Adam has 765K followers, Shawn has 6.2 Mil...(picking on Shawn again 8-) )... OMG! Now I am going to worry about all these apps and their indicators as well I think the point is that I see very little evidence of popularity growth despite excellent efforts on everyone's part - Adam's, his team's, ours.... I sure hope I am wrong! If the majority here doesn't want to discuss these indicators and just prefers to stick to sales/streaming/radio numbers then so be it. I see Adam as a a consistent and steady type of pop artist rather than the huge big instant star that fades away when the next big thing comes along. Shawn is big right now with the age group that Instagrams a million times a day. Will he still be popular in a year? Who knows? There is always going to be somebody who is stronger in some areas. That doesn't mean Adam is doing poorly. Many artist would love to be on their 3rd studio album with songs getting radio play.

Spotify followers: 247,533 on 10/17/2015 Shazam followers: 5,510,980 on 10/19/2015 Instagram followers: 485,184 on 5/20/2015 Google+ Followers: 49,229 on 5/20/2015 Facebook: 4,785,208 on 5/20/2015 Twitter: 2,443,896 on 5/20/2015 Soundcloud: 27,151 on 8/2/2015 YouTube: 105,274 on 8/2/2015
Here's the thing. Everyone has there "thing" they think is important. Whenever you think a "thing" is important then start tracking it and start reporting it.
But if you are going to use those numbers and then cherry pick another artist to compare him to it should be over time and compared with percentages and not raw numbers. And be prepared to show how that other artist has comparable audiences, if their followers rise/fall based on performances, etc.
The thing to remember is that Adam is doing fine, everybody around him seems pleased with how things are going, there is only so much an established fan base can do and sometimes they do too much (case in point a semi-fan felt attacked on twitter last night after saying fans left during his set). We can drive ourselves crazy or thank the stars that Adam is successful enough to be pretty fulfilled with life and yet not so successful that he no longer has a life.

Ugh! Adele's new song on today's building chart! So ALN could be working from around 50 (or 51) for the 2 weeks over Christmas! Still lots of songs dropping but can Adele and Beiber just go away? When I say lots, I mean about 8 that are in nosedives! I swear if that new crap Swift song appears on the building chart tomorrow, i am going to ETA: This is not an angsting or worried post. It is a pissed off post.

I saw Beiber's adds. i think he beat out the highest Adele has every gotten! Maybe even Swifty! But let's rejoice that his song is already past ALN!

Ugh, go away Bieber! And how many songs has Adele sent to radio from this album, three? At least at this rate she'll use them up quickly.
