[The Starfish photos] look like the high school yearbook hard drive crashed and they had to recreate the entire year from scratch in three days. Everyone is bored to freaking death and I've never seen any of them look that stiff in front of a camera – ever. [images tight-assed suit guy yelling at sweaty nervous intern] Ok - tell him...that guy in front of you...Adam right?...HIM...point the camera at HIM. Snap the shot. Again. Tell him to change his pose. I don't know, tell him to put his leg up or something. Now SHOOT THE PICTURE. [haughtily to Adam, as if the intern didn't have ears.] Don't mind him. He's new, but SAID he knew how to work the camera. Our regular guy claimed he was sick today. [looks aggrieved] This isn't my job, but we need your picture, so we're here. No, you numskull, tell him to ANGLE to ANGLE. Now TAKE THE SHOT. God. Is there there someone here that can do a "rock hand"? THERE. YOU. DRUMMER GUY. Please do the hand thing. TAKE HIS PICTURE. Thanks.

Adam...you know I love you, but these pics...just no. No wonder they hadn't surfaced till now...LOL. So rare to take a bad photo too I don't find them 'bad' just no animation in them, like he was only 1/2 there while posing : It appears to be the style they use. Look at some of their other photos. All seems to look like this. They are intended for online press -- so they are high contract, almost garish photos.

He so wants to be in control of this whole thing....I love it! So exciting, we'll start to get stuff soon!! Hi rad! I love the excitement of all of this and I agree; I think we'll start getting tidbits soon, too. Q3 - curiosity question - is mid July a little early for a November album release or about right or is there no particular time frame - maybe the artist does the photoshoot whenever it works best for his and the photographer's schedule?? I'm clueless. Photographers make their schedules work to fit the major label artist's schedules. And Adam is a moderately big star now who has his own personal power on top of his label's pull. I am pretty sure he can work with whoever he wants, whenever he wants. The photoshoot will be the source of promotional photos. We probably will not see the album cover until early September. They need photos to do the promotional work long before the album is released. Expect that the promotional weight will build starting in late July when only fans notice it, to August when non-fans start to get awareness that Adam is around. They builds as they push the single. Gaga started promotion last September more 8 months before album release. 4 to 6 months out is typical.

Heh heh heh. Is pretty mug-shot-like! We have become so spoiled by all the great photo shoots that mundane doesn't work for us. Fans of others might not notice, but we've all become art connoisseurs and there's no going back to Aunt Thelma's holiday pictures.

They are intended for online press -- so they are high contract, almost garish photos. Those photos are not just high contrast and garish, they look awkward, forced, uncomfortable and unflattering. I can't believe that any subjects would be happy with that photographers work. :-/
