Does the RCA Website say Adam is on the VH1 Do Something Awards? Or is it that VH1 Behind the Music is reaired on 8/18?
ETA: Looking at the RCA/j /Arista artist pages --- found this on Cook's page....
"Superlative: Most likely to have 11 of 12 songs on his album debut in Billboard’s Hot 100."
Ummmmm????? Who writes this stuff and what are they smoking?

No way!! He is wearing his jeans that fade as they go down towards the bottom. Not my favorite jeans on him. The jeans are over the black boots or shoes. I vote for socks

Jamie--can I have a bite of that crow? I've gotta say I'm kinda with you--the photo surprises me from Lee, too. While I agree Adam always looks gorgeous in Lee's photos, and comfortable, which makes sense when posing for a close friend, and I love all that (the photos are generous photos of him, if you know what I mean, taken by someone who cares for him, though its easy to be generous to Adam), I'm not a huge Lee fan. There's something a touch formulaic about his work for my taste, and a little too polished, a little too shopped, although I know that's just the business norm now. I guess I like my pics messier. I know this sounds silly but my favorite Glamily photographer is actually Isaac. Something about the composition of almost every on of his photos strikes me as fresh and interesting. And this photo had almost more of and Isaac than a Lee feel to me, if that makes any sense. I still rather mystified by the Lee indifference. He has done some stunning photos of Adam. The gold background? The Acoustic Live! cover? The Sleepwalker cover? All breathtaking, IMO and he captures not only Adam's outer beauty but his internal complexity. He conveys his intensity and emotions beautifully. I don't think any other photographer has come close to capturing the essence of Adam like Lee does. Jamie--can I have a bite of that crow? Something about the composition of almost every on of his photos strikes me as fresh and interesting. He'll shoot half from behind someone, or have some empty space in the middle, or a lot of sloppy objects in the shot, or something I can't even put my finger on that helps focus and illuminate the portrait somehow. And this photo had almost more of and Isaac than a Lee feel to me, if that makes any sense. I know this puts me in a minority, though, and I'm happy for it, as Adam will surely stick with Lee, and Lee clearly also has the ability to surprise me (shows what I know). And of course I love Adam's loyalty, here. I enjoy Isaac's photos too, but I don't think there's any comparison. His are in-the-moment candids, likely taken with his iPhone with natural light. I have pretty good in-the-moment instincts and have taken some very good pics on the fly and many have been published, but when it comes to a studio session where I have to stage and light it? Yikes!!! I was less intimidated flying a plane. I haven't done studio shots in years because I am skerrd. I think the two disciplines are apples and oranges.

Interesting that Kesha is nominated, but she's not slated to be there. She's on tour on the East Coast and though she's off on the 18th, doesn't look like she's going to fly back and forth from that list.

And of course I love Adam's loyalty, here. Thank you MWP for explaining your views on Lee's photography. I was planning to stay behind my rock but you described, much better than I could, much of how feel about his work. Who doesn't love the October/ golden/ Acoustic cover pictures? They are awesomely beautiful and capture Adam's spirit. But they had all been sent to a secondary studio for effects and I hadn't seen until today my favorite type of photography from him. Just a preference. I really am happy to have been proven wrong today and look forward to whatever else he's got. I will say I like Lee's work better than some other professionals like Mike Ruiz or that Paris in bed shoot. It's really getting me excited thinking about all the new artwork/ magazine shoots to come. Adam is such a great muse and obviously loves being one. I can't wait to see them all. And I'm a total Isaac as photographer fan too! I would totally buy a coffee table book of his behind the scenes shots. ETA: susiefierce, just saw your reply. But what if I like apples better regardless of the skills necessary to grow them...I can't help it. :-/ Maybe we can sneak you back stage for the next tour.
