My $.02 on the QAL "release". I'm not entirely sure I buy it yet. Not saying it won't happen but I've seen things like this before about releases that don't pan out...so until an official announcement, don't get TOO excited.
Another thing is - it seems we are days away from the announcement for Queen product (Queen On Air - a collection of Queen's BBC recordings along with interviews and hopefully the 1973 live performance from Golders Green. WIth that coming announcement I would say it would have to be a little while at least before they announce - they (rightfully) have been keeping Queen and QAL separate.
I wouldn't be surprised if they put out a TV special in Japan but it takes awhile to get it on CD/DVD/Blu Ray. Queen actually put Hammersmith 1975 on tv back in 2009 as a 60 minute special. It wasn't released on CD/Blu Ray until 2015! SIX YEARS later. Not saying that that WILL happen. BUT just be prepared that there may be a wait....

I know on a mac, you can only change your region 5 times. It's kinda unnecessary and ridiculous really...  Just download and use the free VideoLAN player (it has Mac and Windows versions). It'll play any region DVDs without all the usual kerfuffle! |
