Assuming the guy in white is Adam's personal assistant Simon Parkinson, instagram is hey_sparkey. And thinking the one with the black shirt is a fitness health guy who travels with QAL. I would have to back track for his name ...others might have documented it. Thanks! Now I remember the personal assistant...Cool that they also seem to have a fitness/health guy on board.

1) VLC Media Player As someone else pointed out, the VLC Media Player software does not care about region code and will play a DVD with any region code. It will also play both NTSC and PAL formated DVDs. VLC Media Player is available for Windows, Mac, Linux computers and also for Android and Apple phones & tables. VLC Media Player will also play just about any video or audio format including MVS and TS video files and FLAC audio files, all of which have been used for QAL video/audio from fans. VLC Media Player is my go to audio/video player!!!!! I highly recommend it!! www.videolan.org/vlc/index.htmlRead more: adamtopia.com/thread/3870/25-china-day-off-shanghai?page=4#ixzz4LJJzMKCyI have VLC media player on my apple mac mini so can I assume I will be able to play this dvd on my computer? Can I also send this to my TV through my apple TV? I recently rented Game of Thrones from my local library with the intent of watching it on my tv but there is some sort of barrier technology that would not let me do that...I had to watch in on my computer only. So is the mirror function to the apple tv similar to 'downloading'...that is, read that way by whatever is used in the dvd to stop that?? I assume so as nothing i did would let me watch it on my TV. What I really want to know is would this also be the case with these DVD's.....should they actually ever make their way down the pipe to us....

My $.02 on the QAL "release". I'm not entirely sure I buy it yet. Not saying it won't happen but I've seen things like this before about releases that don't pan out...so until an official announcement, don't get TOO excited. Another thing is - it seems we are days away from the announcement for Queen product (Queen On Air - a collection of Queen's BBC recordings along with interviews and hopefully the 1973 live performance from Golders Green. WIth that coming announcement I would say it would have to be a little while at least before they announce - they (rightfully) have been keeping Queen and QAL separate. I wouldn't be surprised if they put out a TV special in Japan but it takes awhile to get it on CD/DVD/Blu Ray. Queen actually put Hammersmith 1975 on tv back in 2009 as a 60 minute special. It wasn't released on CD/Blu Ray until 2015! SIX YEARS later. Not saying that that WILL happen. BUT just be prepared that there may be a wait.... I would not be surprised if the was only released in Japan. I expect we will be waiting years for the QAL Live AU DVD too. Queen has high-quality video and audio of every QAL performance. They will probably be able to productize it for years to come. We also now know that they have some studio recordings -- although sounds like that went nowhere.

But I expect that it will likely not work that way. I would try getting a cable that will go directly from your Mac laptop video output to the HTML input of your TV and set the laptop to display to external monitor.

Are we sure that report the other day about recording wasn't just a boggled misinterpretation of a translation about Brian participating in the recording of Lucy? Didn't Shoshanna tweet that it was Lucy?

The issue for me is that my TV is on a wall brackett and I cannot really get at it to do that....I would need to hire someone to help me and it just is not worth it. Too bad but...it is what it is...
