Everything seems to have some link to Adam or Atopia. Today I was reading a retail trade magazine article about customer service and the online ratings that are out there now. The writer checked out the rating of the tattoo parlor in his neighborhood and found great comments: "The staff was friendly and the place is clean with good music and a welcoming vibe. I will definitely return" and "The ideal place for a wary 53-year-old mom to go for her first tattoo." Guess who I thought of... I wonder if that shop is in Atlanta... The shop in Atlanta definitely had a welcoming vibe and one patron in particular was over 53. ;D |

But then again this is coming from someone who doesn't really care about who Adam is dating unless I can make LOLZ from it.

Alright, I really hope that I don't offend anyone, but from visiting at least three Adam fan sites as well as twitter, I think I have to rant or something, as I'm becoming increasingly bewildered at the memo everywhere that Adam is isolating or ignoring his fan base and that they're gonna go and away and leave him because he's not regularly tweeting once or more times a day.
I think that fans have gotten a bit spoiled by those frequent twitter parties that he have done when he got his million followers. Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I've followed him, Adam never seemed to be that much of a prolific twitterer. I mean wasn't it a joke among his fans that he only used twitter to clear up rumors, explaining himself in cleaning up the rumors, promoting other artists and the weather? And I would also put ranting in there to get away cray stalker fans who dissed, and jumped on his loved ones.
Even during Idol, with the exception of Feeling Good, we never got a leak of a song that he was going to sing for the following week, we were all surprised and elated on the day of the performances.
We know how much Adam loves to stun and surprise us, and considering we knew what airport terminal and that it was in Miami that Adam was at just by looking at the picture of the restaurant in the background and knowing where he was at on vacation cause he was standing by the brochures to Bora Bora , I think that he probably knows how good his fans are at finding any information that he leaks out, no matter how small it is.
Being as someone who really loves to be surprised and hate to be spoiled, by knowing the ending, or key elements of books, movies, shows etc., even thought it's a bit dry at times, I'm really enjoying the fact that he keeping almost everything close to the vest until near release time.

ITA -- I believe that for 99.99999% of fans that they are playing games. Some are even copying quotes from frustrated fans of other artists. You can only solve the puzzle with a cleverly constructed Google search. We have been through this before and the fanbase just keeps growing. I am just enjoying the show.    |
