Since Isiah's also going with Adam and Amalia, looks like from Amalia hometown they will go directly to Isiah. I remembered reading that Isiah traveled by bus for 6hours to go to his vocal lesson. Which I assume close to Amalia's. Moama is on the border of NSW and Victoria but is much closer to Melbourne than Sydney. I just realized that Amalia's high school, Toorak College is the same school my nieces went to.

So, I assume Vlado and Davey are also doing the home visit thing. ARe Guy and MelB accompanying them as well? I'm curious how much of this is standard, and how much is Adam being a great mentor and supporting his kids. The mentors in the UK version have always accompanied the finalists so I suppose it's standard in every country. I think having their celeb mentor on hand helps to drum up interest and excitement. I remember a few years back when there was great excitement in a town near me when Nicole Scherzinger came with finalist James Arthur, who went on to win the competition. James had great success after his win but fell out of favour due to his outspoken nature (he's like Adam, no filter, but without Adam's charm) and was dropped by Syco, Simon Cowell's record label and fell into obscurity. He got his act together and earlier this year was re-signed by Simon Cowell (the first contestant ever to be dropped and re-signed again) and is now enjoying a no. 1 single in the UK. I tell the story because James Arthur is appearing in next weekend's final (Australia, I mean).

Totally different subject, but did anyone hear Billy Gilman sing The Show Must Go On on the voice last night? I was expecting big things, but it wasn't all that great. He just didn't sound anything like Adam. Adam would blow everyone's socks off on that show. Too bad he can't get on as a guest and show everyone what the term Voice really means! Cassie should look at Billy's rendition and hopefully, have a comment!

grahamjonesartist: With ADAM LAMBERT tonight at the Melbourne home of our friend and X-Factor grand finalist AMALIA FOY #xfactor #voiceofanangel #morningtonpeninsula #bff #aria http://instagr.am/p/BM0_CxGD8GG Bet Adam never knew at the time when snapping this picture that this artist's earlier work posted on his instagram looks so similar in theme to his long ago boyfriend's work---Drake LaBry. It is my first time watching an X Factor season. The home XFactor visits follow the AI experience Adam had ---school or work, home visit and performance site. My brother/wife/son face timed me from the Gold Coast area in Australia last night. They are visiting my neice, and family who are in Au for 5 years. They have been there for over 2 months and have religiously watched the XFactor episodes and are rooting for Isaiah and then Vlado. They said Adam is doing amazing on the show...then asked, if I have seen any of it!! Of course-- haha! Thank gosh for the internet! They introduced me to AI when I travelled with them to Florida (Rueben/Clay season). After that Season, I would sometimes tune in for a few shows or more, depending on the season/contestants. Adam's season was so different. I missed the audition parts as I was travelling but was glued to the TV, every week after I saw Adam perform Satisfaction. Adam's voice and handsomeness captured me, and here I still am spending way too much of my time besotted with any crumb of news. I have my brother and sister in law to thank for all of this obsession. And I mean that in the best way.

Cassie should look at Billy's rendition and hopefully, have a comment! I was pleasantly surprised by his singing. He has a good voice and he has good control of it most of the time. He sang in the original key, which is brutally high, and he didn't sound strained reaching for most of the notes. My problem was, I felt totally unaffected by the song's story. There was no emotion in the execution. No agony, no struggle, no tragedy. When Adam sings, there is this rawness, not in tone, but in emotion, that tears at your heart. There is defiance and courage and bravado. When I listened to Billy sing, I felt nothing. IMHO www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOBHrQ0aIIw
