Okay if we are putting in our wants for Adam's music, I am hoping for something more gritty and deep and award nomination type music. Dance is fine and will be great on the album but I hope it will take a back seat this time. The EDM artists will get the dance music nominations every time especially if they have Bieber sing on the song. Adam has something that a lot of them don't have. Put it out there and see what happens. Tho I am looking forward to anything he has to offer. And yes I know, Adam will do whatever he wants to do and he should, lol.

No matter what we wish for him to put out there as new music, he is going to do what Adam feels is the right thing to do, I am okay with that just hoping is kind of soon, like very soon, not soonish!

Just throwing out there my thoughts as I listen to Adam's cd's as oppose to what is on the radio. I very rarely listen to the radio, so of course I'm not an expert but I do know what I like and I find that I have zero tolerance for most of the music out there, with some exceptions. Last week my ipod died just as I started my trip home from work so instead I put the radio on, and I have come to this conclusion, (my opinion only) Adam's songs puts rings around anything that is presently on the radio. I understand that he most pay his dues, but he is always being complimented by radio dj'S - So why don't they play his songs? I don't expect replies just putting my thoughts out there. I know he is doing great, and I believe he will be in this business a very long time. He is just too talented not to have a long career in show business.  |

I don't why seeing him being able to afford 5 thousand dollar coats makes me so happy!  It's funny because a fellow Atopper and I got together recently and we were just discussing that. We don't have a lot of money, but what we can afford has gone to buying Adam's products. We would never buy what Adam buys, but we're happy he can buy them. I guess his pleasure is our pleasure. His life is our fantasy! Adam taught me to be more visibly who I am. Luckily, it does not take 5K coats to be myself, I am quite grateful for that  . I never envied Adam his coats, I would not have a desire to stand out in that way, nor would that same piece of clothing look anything but misplaced in my world or say anything useful. I am quite fine with not having it. But figuring out how to be more myself did become the topic, and that was a good one. The reason it made such an impression on me what he did, was not that he has the money to throw around, the reason it impressed me was that he has to be brave to be himself. It takes courage to do what he does or stands for. And guess what, then he gets to hang out with Debra Messing, who just recently has done the very same thing, quite vocally so, and also without being forced to do so, just because she thought it right to do it. She impressed me a lot in recent months, and I happily see Adam connecting with her personally. Adam stands for something that goes beyond the actual clothes he wears. He stands for personal courage, he stands for independence from mainstream opinions, he stands for freedom of spirit, mind, and soul. Even ignoring the other more music related topics for this discussion, he stands for something important. And he shows how powerful it is to show that, not only just privately live it, like so many others choose to do. And in that he taught me something. And that is why I love those outfits on him, even though on some other person I might find them a waste of money. If you spend 5K on leopard print, you better have something to say besides look-at-me. And Adam does and always has and it makes him deserving the stardom and the wealth and fame. And he bravely puts up with the downsides of this public life, something I would not be able to do either, btw. But Adam did put the challenge before me to ask why I was so impressed by that, and what I was going to do with that. How that was translating into my own life, and that was the interesting part of the journey and it had nothing to do with clothes or money or fame. I'm still walking that path, but there is no question that Adam managed to put a major bend into that path of mine, and if you would have told me 10 years ago that a pop singer would have any substantial influence on me, I would have just laughed at such a suggestion or idea. And knowing that he had that same influence and still has on many thousands other people all over the world, kind of tells how important symbols and gestures are, be they in clothes or otherwise. |

I can only agree to what is sayed above about Adams music and the music on radio. I barely listen to radio and when I have to, I find myself not liking anything except for a few songs.
I remeber after an hour drive i texted my friends and sayed: it's official, there's only crap out there on radio. When you're happy about Robbie Williams "angel" and Nena (german artist who sang 99 "luftbalons") and Justin Bieber is the best thing around (I think it was "let me love you" on)^^
I find Adams music far more original than radio-music. Even if he's going pop and his music is somewhat "smoothed out" I still find it more original, more depth.
On the other topic of the 5,000 jacket. Yes, I'm happy, that Adam can afford the things he likes. To a certain degree it makes me sad though. I'm not a big consumer myself, rather consume-skeptic because I think alot of it is filling a void. Adam sayed something like this when he introduced "somebody to love" as well: "...why do we cover ourselves in glitter and all this empty stuff?" is I think what he roughly sayed...he didn't always say it when he introduces the song but I'm quite sure more than once...
For me Adams success shows that he can pick projects he likes, get's to do so many different things, he's always busy, get's rave reviews for whatever he does and he inspires others. (sounding like a brocken record)

I reckon his next album he should writes songs about his past romantic relationships. Use pronouns. Works for Sam Smith. Relationships sell. Jmo. I disagree re radio tho. Theirs lots of great pop music out their. Just because it's not Adam, does not mean it's not original. I Liston to Radio and loving pop and it's diversity ATM. From Taylor, to Tove Lo, to the Weeknd. So you know they won't play Adam because they do. GT was played ALOT on US Pop Radio. Biggest played Adam song since Wwfm. Just didn't chat well enough. It's right music, right timing.

I love to see Adam looking good. But never had the need to know how much an outfit cost or how often he wore it or the reason behind the purchase. I pretty much just read it because it is there and assumed he loved fashion. Of course his purchasing power and needs are going to be different and greater than that of the average Joe or Jane. And I understand why fans are happy that he can afford to buy what he wants. I am also.
