I think it's always helpful to remember to add qualifiers, especially for those who write in a strong voice. Qualifiers can be "I think, I believe, In my experience, IMO" etc. I also find that most board members are more tolerant of strong voices if they are also paired with consistent presence of the author in softer situations on the board. Writers who are unknown or whom only seem to come in with a goal to sow discontent are seen as troublemakers in any society and perhaps with good reason. Now many of us would appreciate another voice that is articulate and not afraid to offer dissenting opinions but one that is also sensitive. Our friend Talon is an example of how that works.

Actually, I am wrong only about 75% of the time. But when I am right, like about new music coming out this year, it makes up for the wrongs! LOL!!

I'm in my 50's and find lots of my new music on social media of various sorts and have streaming music/radio in the car (my car is 6 months old and no CD player! I have a flash drive but usually hook up my cell phone with or use bluetooth). I like Spotify and am just re-upping my subscription to Sirius XM. The music industry is in a state of continual change, and I think much of that change is good for artists like Adam who like to be "fresh" and relevant.
I just read the article posted by Ryan Tedder of One Republic, and I think he and Adam share a similar outlook regarding music. Waiting for an album to drop seems pretty alien to how media works today (for both good and ill).
I am getting SO EXCITED for my concert tomorrow -- and I am so glad I-5 won't be a mess, especially as I talked my sister into driving and not taking the train from Portland (which is lovely but will cost much more--and I have new wheels that need a road trip!).
See some of you in Seattle I hope! We are doing the VIP thing for this concert, and we are staying close by the arena so maybe we can meet up after the concert somewhere. Anyone looking for reasonable eats close to the arena might want to go to the Food Court at Seattle Center because it has been recently remodeled and is quite nice now. The arena is at the west end of Seattle Center. Also, the lower Queen Anne area is just blocks away and there are lots of restaurants, bars, etc. there.

Back to that OUT interview, which I love. He speaks about this "project" in the context of Trespassing and TOH which were albums, so there is def a themed set of songs coming IMO. Whether it is single by single or an EP this year, I think its gonna happen. An EP seems likely, to me, and could be why he is using words like "project" instead of album. "Two Fux" just seems so conceptual to me. There is no need for a concept, if he is just releasing several singles. For me, the great thing about EPs is that they come out faster. And they cost less!
