Please someone educate me on the alternatives to Ticketmaster for buying QAL tickets to the London shows!!! I know the shows have not been announced yet, but assume it will be the same as last time. I especially am interested in ways to get electronic tickets for people not living in the UK. Do the alternative ticket vendors sell during the fan club pre-sell? Also, do they sell VIP tickets? The way that UK Ticket master handles tickets is very problematic because they wait till just before the show to mail out the tickets. If YouTube in another country and are traveling a week before the show, they may not get to you in time. I even heard someone in the UK did not get her ticket in time! I want to be ready with my buying strategy well in advance! I bought VIP tickets on Ticketmaster Uk for the December 2017 shows in London and Birmingham. I wrote to Ticketmaster about a month before my trip and asked them to convert them to Will Call, which they did with no problem. I had to present my ID at the will call window to pick up my tickets before each show. ETA: they even credited my credit card for the "secure postage" I had paid when I first purchased. |

Oh, do you plan to come to Hamburg?  I have tickets for Hamburg and Berlin now! So Betty, we'll meet again in Hamburg ! QueeenAL will be there as well! I still have our booking for a hotel in Wembley, let's see what will happen to that.... |

That Off The Record link is very good. Reminds me of some of my favorites for FYE. Strut and esp. Pop That Lock. I LOVE that song! All of Adam's albums have been full of hidden gems that we love. Hope Era 4 will have gems that are NOT hidden and get some radio play. Makes all the difference.
And lurleene, you are so right about the financial advantages of touring with Queen. Adam does not have to put up any money, and he MAKES a ton of money. Not a bad deal. And his label will help fund his solo tour, but like you said, his venues will be smaller and less expensive. I'm glad he's with a major label. Hope they support the hell out of A4.

I just realised that the new European tour will be during the football (soccer) world-championship. Checking the exact dates, there won’t be a game of the German team on the German Queen-dates. And I want to believe, that’s no coincidence.😂 When the German football team plays in a big tournament, the public life stands (almost) still - and many fans would rather not go to a concert...
PS:English fans (and Roger) might get a „problem“ 😉

It's such a wonderful thing to see how nice and helpful you all are, in sharing information and advice about ticket buying, hotel reservations, etc, for all the concert goers. It's the reason I try to check in on this board every day- for the past 9 years---it's a place of love and caring ,not only for Adam,but also for each other . So happy to see all the excitement for all who are planning to see QAL again. It truly makes me smile.  |

I'm going to Berlin!!! 🕺🕺🕺🕺❤️ CONGRATULATIONS, petrajo !!!! I love Berlin. It is one of my top favorite German cities, along with Munich and Hamburg. But Berlin is more international. Make sure you book a visit to the "Reichstag" and take a boat tour. I am so bummed that I can't make any of the German dates this time around (due to my daughter's Graduation). Fingers crossed for the UK in early July... Looks like many more on this board have gotten their tickets including nightowl and betty...AWESOME!!!  am very happy for all of YOU!!!  It must be so exciting to plan now for "One More Round The Block"!!!!    |
