When Idol ended there was a special episode and people on here said it had a lot of Adam in it. Is it this one? www.youtube.com/watch?v=2cSsa89BDqIIt was interesting to watch, didn't realize how much Idol started from "scratch"...that mishap, that Ryan didn't have the right card to announce the winner and pitched a question to Randy, to be able to get it from the side of the stage, was funny...and how Adam says is fans are family   Btw. Terrance posted something about the anniversary of the shooting in Orlando yesterday...which would mean, that this performance is two years ago today? Adam said in an interview they were not knowing how the portuguese people would react (myself included first row) and they were really happily surprised as you can see in the video.... so excited to see them again in Lisbon ( saw them 5 times this last tour . twice in Usa - Brooklin and Newark and 3 times in Europe - one in Milan and 2 in O2 London - I Know I m a very lucky fan of the man... |

Berlin has more or less two: The one in Berlin West and the other one in Berlin East. The venue is not far from the Eastern City-Center Alexanderplatz. There are hotels beside the venue. Half an hour away sounds rather far. Where is that? I would recommend the „Holiday Inn City Eastside“. It’s across the street from the venue AND close to public transport to explore the city. And you have the Eastside Gallery (rest of the Berlin Wall) close by. This is Stresemannstraße 49, |

This is Stresemannstraße 49, I just checked it on a map. I don’t know, if I would really recommend it. It’s not that far from the city center , in this case Potsdamer Platz, then Brandenburg Gate , Holocaust Mahnmal and Reichstag or Friedrichstraße.. If you like to walk, you should be fine. The Underground should take you to the venue. When you want to stay only for the concert its ok, but I would book a hotel closer to the venue OR for instance the train station (if you get here by train).If you want to explore Berlin for a day it should be ok as well, it could be a bit more complicated to get to some interesting places in Berlin by public transport though, because of stupid connections. And you should know, it’s an area without any nightlife, and not many restaurants or shops around the corner. More Appartement Blocks and industry/ officebuildings. By the way, IF I ever needed a hotel in Berlin, I would stay in the „Motel one Ku‘damm“ or the newer „Motel One Upper West“. They are both in the middle of the city west for a rather low budget. There is another great „Motel one“ at Hackescher Markt, close to Alexanderplatz (and closer to the venue). All in the center of all and close to the train, that takes you to the venue and to almost all other places in Berlin. |
