Ok, how does he make it look so damn effortless. I just listened TSMGO and I almost fell on the floor. Not only is every note perfect, but the tone is rich and powerful and deep. And he does it song after song after song. Incredible. That voice needs to fill an arena with music, all Adam's own.

Yikes! He could have really twisted his ankle! That was a close call. A little harder twist and he could have been down on the floor writhing in pain. Lucky he didn't, cuz the show had JUST begun!

I realize that Q&A wanted to bring some new songs to the setlist and mix it up a bit, but I really miss One Vision. I thought it was a grand opening.

What I personally discovered among my friends when I played Adam's music, the different types of songs he has, is that most to whom I played the music could not "handle" a performer like Adam. I asked and the majority answers I got was that it was " too much" for them. As in too much singing, too much drama ...They were ok with Ghost Town and a few other songs from TOH though. Songs which were very "toned down" . Maybe it does come to that ,a performer like Adam is not for everyone, even if his solo music is not that different from what other artists are doing. My friends like someone uncomplicated, "guy next door type" of artist, with a nice melodic voice who won't "ruffle their feathers" too much. I'm just really glad my sister has the same taste in music I do so I didn't have to battle to play the music I liked in the house while growing up. Quite honestly, I think that most music listeners are much like your friends. And I am like that, too, sometimes. People like music that doesn't demand too much of them. Music that kind of blends in to the surroundings. Music that is easy to sing along with if you want to, but will just be there humming along anyway if you don't. Lots of popular songs are songs that don't draw much attention to themselves. They're kind of ear candy, benign and just kind of nice. I think your friends are pretty accurate about Adam's music. His voice is dominant, the melodies are kind of complex, and there is that aura of drama (even in his lighter songs) that seems to carry some weight. He doesn't come across as just some headless voice box. It's not everyone's cup of tea. And yes, it's far more comfortable to just be content with middle of the road, toned down. It's just easier. THANK GOD FOR THE SISTER!
