Ok, question about QAL tickets strategy. I can't log in to adamlambertfans.com because it goofed up my log-in years ago. Tried to create a new account but no luck. So, no access to a "code" there for me. So should I join the Queen fan club and try there? If you don't belong to a fan site that offers ticket assistance, what is the best next option for tickets? Do these venues even have actual physical box offices anymore where you can just walk up to and buy tickets? I would assume they do. Hmmm. I know the ticket brokers are buying up tickets like wildfire already. I once had to get tickets from Stub Hub. Very pricey and I don't want to do that again if I can help it. The brokers will release their tickets gradually as they see fit. This ticket-buying thing also sends me to the loony bin. Yes, join the queen fan club at QueenOnline. They have already emailed the code which is the same for everyone. I'm sure someone here would give it to you. I suspect that the Adam fan club codes are not the same for everyone. And in my experience, the same seats are available from both fan clubs. Thank you! You've calmed me down a bit. I'll try the Queen site. For both QAL shows I have attended, I got very mediocre seats. I was thrilled with the show but disappointed that I wasn't closer. I don't have to be right up in the first row, but I want to at least feel like I'm not watching it on TV. I'm getting seats with another Glambert friend so we have to coordinate our efforts. And now my son is saying to me, "Mom, are you going to see the Stones at Soldier Field in June?" I have NEVER seen the Stones onstage live. I love the Stones. They're on my bucket list. And then there's Adam's solo tour at some point. I gotta get a bank loan. LOL

I‘m not sure, if this will work. They already sent the emails with the code. The venues should have a box office, where you can buy a ticket in the general sale from Friday on.

Regarding different presale tickets being available at the same time, be sure to check before you grab some and get ready to pay for them. Last week during the Stones presale I nabbed a couple of tickets and when I got to the checkout they were AMEX presale tickets. I had to go back and try again. By the time I figured out what I was doing, everything was gone. I wasn’t being real picky either, just didn’t want to be at the back of the upper level! (During the regular sale on Friday I got two Platinum seats - pretty far off in the 3rd row of the 3rd level, but we should have a good view of the whole show.)
Sad to say I can’t go to QAL.

The Rolling Stones send me one a couple of days before their presale and again on the morning of the sale. And signing up for the Queen emails is free, so you won’t lose anything!

If you're planning to buy VIP (gold, silver etc.), you won't need any code and you can buy Thursday. It so annoys me that I can't see the exact seat configuration for the floor seats next to thrust before they go on sale! Also, Amex seemed to have more seats last tour than Queen or Adam fans presales. My Macy's credit card is an Amex and that worked fine - just not for the "preferred" Amex seats, only regular Amex seats. No mention yet of Amex so not sure that's happening this time around. Ugh ticket stress!

That said, I won’t rule out, that new members will get an email with the code. (I wouldn’t do it though. I don’t want to be mean, but the way it is, it’s already VERY easy for Queen fans to get a ticket in the fansale. No Fanclub ect. needed. It’s so easy, that many casual fans and resellers get the code, so that the venues in the UK sell out in the presale. )

Generally that's true, especially for the stands seats. For this floor configuration with the middle section removed if you want to be on the thrust....you have no way of knowing how many seats they'll put in each row....like whether seat 12 or maybe 15 or 19, etc is on the thrust w/o an interactive map....especially if in Sec 1 or A. Usually Sec 3/C numbers would have Seat 1 on the thrust...but not always...that's when the "normal" numbering for that venue is helpful. Also that little section at the end of the thrust can be tricky. I've sat there with a walkway in front of me, a couple of times it was perfect and on the rail... and got a great front row seat last minute when they added another row in front of the supposedly front row. I'm sure the folks behind me were none too happy. Buying tickets is the absolute worst part of being a diehard fan. I know many don't let it bother them too much and I know you can always get a decent ticket but I want a great ticket....lol It stresses the HELL outta me.... How easy it is with GA in Europe. Just buy a ticket and then choose, where to stand. You shouldn’t come too late, though. But in Germany, you were in the second row, when you came to the venue at 5-6pm. Yes, that's right. I've done standing GA with Adam concerts...but have always queued from dawn forward...lol...to be sure to get front row. Standing at a barricade for hours is a whole lot easier than being a row or two back with nothing to prop on. Don't think I could do it from 2nd or 3rd row....unless I could sit on the floor...lol. The advantage with a seated floor is you can arrive last minute all fresh and rested....but the stress is all at 10AM on presale day.

And the price is 5-7 times higher for a seat in the frontrow or close to the barrier than a ticket for GA. I have no problem standing a bit further back. But I got to the Arena in Berlin at 4pm and ended up in the front row. I‘m actually not sure, if there was any chance at all to sell out venues in Europe with US ticket prices. My friends and family weren’t ready to pay the 80€ for the cheapest tickets. Could it be, that this is the reason, why QAL always start their tours in the US? They can make more money? I realized, that the gross out of the BoRhap movie is more than 10times higher in the US than in Germany. But there are only 3times more citizens in the States. From what I‘ve heard, the ticket prices for cinemas aren’t that different. I believe some of the differences could be higher taxes over here. But I also believe, that people in the US might go more often to the cinemas or concerts ect?
