Wonder why two people are doing "Blue Suede Shoes".
Adam is a important part of Queen. Anyone who thinks they would be getting these great shows without him can ask themselves why nothing has clicked for Queen on this level since Freddie's death. For every person who thinks Adam is of little importance to the band, and they are only there to see Queen, there are many more pleased fans who love and respect what he brings to the band. I mean, we see the tweets after each concert. Yes there are the "he's not Freddie" crowd but they mostly follow but he was the best alternative. To the chagrin of some, many think he is the best they have seen. TBH, I don't pay much attention to Tyler. Most would not miss him if he were not there, I suspect. Adam, on the other hand, would not be easily replaced. Even if some of the Queen site fans (with their childish insults and dismissive attitudes) don't think he is anything special, Adam's fans, Brian and Roger know he is. Period. Negative comments from Marc or Freddie fans mean very little in this picture. Few of Adam's fans care what they think and or pay attention to them. Some just laugh at the envy. Rami was fantastic in BR. Adam is fantastic as the Queen frontman and he is a major reason they have had so much success on the road these past several years, before the movie. But the movie will bring out even more fans to see iconic Queen fronted by the wonderful and super talented Adam Lambert. Newbies to QAL are in for a treat. That is a good thing, imo. Much to celebrate and no downside.

Ok, now I don't feel so bad...I wasn't born until '59 and lived in Germany until '72. The Elvis heyday passed me right by lol.
I do recognize the melody though, now that I listen to it.
Not sure why, but I just never found Elvis particularly sexy, or found his voice that amazing. I do, however, appreciate his impact on the world of music.
Same goes for the Beatles.

Shane 🤘🏽 🎸 @shanetorres_92 Although I don’t care for Adam Lambert but I’m attending the Rhapsody tour because I’m such a huge QUEEN fan. How I wish Freddie Mercury was still here with us! 👍🏽 Who is this Shane? Why should I care about shane?? To add I was never a fan of Queens , I only really got interested in the band because of Adam.. so if you asked hundreds of people I'm sure many would have different reasons for going to their concerts.. I've been to three Queen and Adam and two of solo Adam's concerts.. truth be told . If I could afford to go more ,I would be all over the world with them..

I was born a few years after Elvis had died. So I can only quote, what my mom -a huge Elvis fan from Germany- told me a few months ago: „Elvis was never that big in Germany.“ I couldn’t believe it and looked up the numbers. And she‘s right. So, you didn’t miss the hype. It wasn’t there. My mom told me, that she was pretty alone and not hip with her love for Elvis in school (she was born in ˋ49).

David Bowie would have been 72 years old today. Adam loved Bowie. Memories...the American Idol 2009 Tour when Adam sang his Bowie medley:
