Now I have to go play Barbies with my granddaughter so I can't read anything besides NoAngel's post until after 8:30am. Life, even when it's good, is not always fair. savvy, I'm nominating you for sainthood. I'd kill myself if I had to play Barbies. :-/

For all the folks with kindles, check your local library to see if they have started their Library2Go section. This has been in the works for months and I know that my library already has a great selection of new and fairly recent books. The books are available to download from Amazon and only available for 7 days. To make this somewhat Adam related, my library asks for book recommendations to purchase. Of course I listed "On the Meaning of Adam Lambert" by Juneau and Xena since that is the only one available. I know your heart is in the right place, but I don't think a fan written book full of pages and pages of the authors fantasies about Adam being available to the library-going public is of any help at all to Adam, and just basically puts money in the authors pocket for the purchase. Yet more people making money off his back. Sorry, no offense, I just have very strong feelings about that book. Well, that's not quite an accurate description of that book. The book is a compilation of selected comments posted on the WOW blog article by Allegra Huston. While some of the comments were of the fanfic type the majority were just people talking about what Adam means to them. A community developed out of the comments just like a community has developed here. The book is not only Juneau and Xena's comments but many others as well along with some timeline annotations. Sadly although the article itself is back up the original with all those comments is now gone. I think when I had last looked there were over 25,000 comments.

LOVE the suggestion of "under chicken gizzards and behind 75th anniversary cards." Maybe also ... behind canned turnips, in the snow shovel bin (in my neck of the woods ... but j/k, WalMart doesn't even sell snow shovels here). How about behind the XXXXL thong bikini rack? Not that I or anyone else on this board would ever advocate destruction of someone else's property*, but many bulk items are stocked while still on pallets by little fork lift thingies. I'd bet that if you accidentally dropped something into the pallet itself it would be hard pressed to see it emerge unscathed. Pallet items might include toilet paper, tires, loads of potting soil, bulk birdseed, etc. *Above posted as humor only. NO ONE here would ever do such a thing.*
*Above posted as a disclaimer only. Otherwise have at it!*
*Disclaimer of a disclaimer*
Let's go round and round, shall we?(wink wink, hopi, hopi indeed!)

Maybe someone here can enlighten me. I was following various twitter convos today and was wondering, did something happen recently that would make ppl think Adam would be getting the short end of the promo stick for era 2? That's the idea that was being tossed around, and since I don't follow this stuff very closely, I don't know why people would think that. Has something happened that would make ppl think this? Is this the common held belief among fans? I mean, if so then why would he go with DMG in the first place? Obviously DMG had to have something to entice Adam away from 19, and if they were just going to fail at getting Adam Katy Perry-levels of promo, then why switch at all, ya know? Just curious. Just saw this and these comments CM is referring to on twitter had me pissed earlier today. There are a couple of twitter(ers?) on my feed who seem to feel they know what's going to happen with Adam2. They are obviously fans, but everything they predict is doom & gloom. He is going to get "minimal promo" and will get "very few major TV appearances". After all he's still "banned from all major awards shows and from an entire TV network". This person sees him getting the bare minimum - Ellen, Leno and Kimmel. Not even KC levels - in this person's opinion.

Obviously DMG had to have something to entice Adam away from 19, and if they were just going to fail at getting Adam Katy Perry-levels of promo, then why switch at all, ya know? Just curious. To my knowledge there was ONE person worried about it on Twitter and many who took the opposing view. I think it was just worrying. IMO, the management switch was part of Adam "taking the reins," as Evan Bogart, Corson and even Ed have said. IMO as a media professional, DMG has been very quiet on the surface because they are working a lot behind the scenes. They got Katy TONS of print coverage – in-depth interviews and multiple national covers. This take a lot of time though because lead time for most national magazine is about six months (some magazines can switch things around to cover timely stories, however, so it's not always set in stone). Actually, the "hiccup" in timing that more than a few people have said was the result of the management change says to me, they ARE working on a large campaign, but it is all Remember, we wouldn't have known about Out photoshoot (for which the story still hasn't transpired) if not for one random tweet. We wouldn't even know about the album photoshoot, if Adam hadn't told us himself. He has everyone around him REAL good at keeping secrets. While the label does the radio push, management is responsible for getting him booked on TV, magazines, web, guest appearances, etc. They may even do a lot of the radio as well (if they're more in-depth than a standard radio interview). I have no doubt that Adam, RCA and DMG understand the necessity of promo and that it is (yet another) area where Adam excels. God knows Adam worked his ass to the bone from 6/2009 until GNT traveling the world and talking and singing until his tongue was probably ready to snap off its roller. I think after the tweets last week, the single is likely ready musicwise, it's the promo blitz that needs to be put in place.
