Hmmm, wonder what other plans besides the QAL tour? Hopefully that'll work out...keeping fingers and toes crossed. Did Shoshanna understand that the above question came from a US fan? No plans at all for "Velvet" next year, as I understand it, is a bit deflating. Thankfully though, the songs on the album are very well suited for acoustic sets via online platforms. Is it a US fan? She said "tour here"...since he just cancelled the Europe tour, that would indicate she's from Europe. Maybe I'm missing something. That's why I was curious what was happening next year, besides QAL's rescheduled tour, that explains Shosh's "plans in place". Maybe there is other stuff happening that we don't know about yet, which is limiting Adam's plans for a solo tour reschedule. ETA: Just finished reading the rest of Shosh's tweets, and now I'm REALLY curious what the boy has going on lol. Interesting comments by Shosh. And I'll join the camp of "hoping for more live performances" from at home, since he can't tour. All around bummer about the clusterf*ck around Velvet, none of it anybody's fault of course. I'm sure he must be really disappointed. At least it doesn't sound like this year of no touring will hurt his pocket book too much lol.

Oh please make it stop!!!! Everything it up in the air for Adam and most others now. It is not a matter of if he cares about his fans. They will announce when they have some plans that may hold. Shosh is not going to make the announcements for him. She is not even sure about Vegas. It is hard on fans but my guess it is harder on Adam to see so many of his plans go up in smoke. I feel so bad for him. But he could already have some things scheduled for next year (that we don't know about but he does) that he is hoping won't get bumped. But it is a wait and see before any announcing. It is difficult but patience and understanding would be a big help to him right now. I watched TSMGO two nights straight. I'll treat myself to another viewing tonight, lol.

You're right and Shoshanna said something in one of those replies about other stuff so I can't wait to see what all of that is. Meantime I'm going to tweet my man Jay Towers above. My neck of the woods.!

Haha, I was rolling my eyes about the fan who wanted to know his plans for next year so she could arrange her travel plans. Please! Like you said, everybody is in limbo right now. My son was supposed to get married in October, and they had to cancel the wedding...postponed to "sometime" next year. All up in the air. And yes, I'm sure Adam is disappointed and sad that he couldn't get to tour with his baby.

I get it now, and I have to admit that something got "lost in translation" on my part. I am sorry. It is definitely sad that there won't be a "Velvet" tour. I think it is understandable that fans have questions, especially those in Europe who are ardent fans and have been waiting for a solo tour for so long, though from what I have generally seen on twitter, facebook, and IG the reactions to cancellations and in particular this morning to Adam's European "Velvet" tour are of a collective understanding, sadness, and definite hopes for better times in the future. Of course some fans overreact with emotion. I think for Adam to have Queen in the mix is definitely a blessing but it makes things more complex and disappointing for those who are more into Adam as a solo artist. Adam is doing the best he can while also looking out for himself and his professional journey. I am sure that it must be very hard for any artist and their promo team currently to walk the tight rope in terms of plans and announcements, and thank goodness for social media platforms to keep the fans happy. I think that Adam is doing a fantastic job currently and I am actually amazed how much energy and stamina he has by operating from his house. What we have seen is stunning and I am so proud of him how he has adjusted. Still, this is an emotional time for all of us, including the artists themselves, and I can only speak for myself but to see confirmed this morning what many were anticipating hit me hard for for some reason. And I was not even planning on going to Europe in September. May be what really got to me was Adam's very heartfelt announcement and my own subsequent thoughts about Vegas. Good to see the outpouring of love.

I think Lurleene was talking about Adam's plans going up in smoke, not the fans lol.
And if you read Black Dahlia's tweet, asking if he had other plans in Europe, because she always had the impression that his fans in EU were important to him, it does sound like she's questioning that.
But yes, I do agree things get lost in translation..and it's hard to get the "right" tone from some tweets.

I am just going to be happy about Shosh saying that "we have other plans in place for next year." Whatever these plans are, it's fine with me. This year has been one big monkey wrench. All we can do is keep looking forward. There will be a time when we will look back on 2020 and say, "That year was terrible but we got through and so did Adam and things are really great now!" That's my plan and I'm sticking to it.

There's a fan on Facebook that's pretty much acting like Adam should have planned for a pandemic lol! Other than that everyone else seems sad and disappointed of course but supportive of Adam. And of course waiting to see what these other things are that Shosh mentioned that are already in the works for next year!
