I'm impressed, Nightowl! Now, I don't work from home. I got laid off from my job at the end of 2018, because the business was closing (owners wanted to retire), so I decided to take a break from working...and then the virus happened.
Hubby works from home, though, and he does all that stuff easy peasy.

Was just coming to post my Meet N Greet pic and there it is, LOL. You don't need Zoom or Skype for these Meet N Greets. The company gives you a link (I used my laptop and Chrome browser) and your personal code to login. You're assigned a number in the order that you log in. I was 21 & had rehearsed what I was going to say. Was nervous as heck as the numbers counted down but you can chat with the other fans as you wait and I was calm when I saw I was next. You push a button on the screen when they tell you to and there's a split screen (as per the pic) and Adam appears. He says Hey and your name. I started talking and Adam said, I can't hear you. Great! I pick up my new mic and talk louder - and nothing. He can't hear me. And I had tested and retested the camera and the sound. So they cut the video and I'm thinking - "That's it. My meeting is over, it got screwed up & my money is gone." Luckily the tech help came right on and asked me to test my mic. I did, it was fine & the next person comes back to chat and says, Adam couldn't hear her either. It took a while to fix the technical glitch - so by then I was totally calm. I'm asked to connect again, and there's Adam and I ask if he can hear me. He says yes and I tell him he looks gorgeous and thank him for sharing his birthday with us by giving us 2 amazing concerts. I tell him I've been a fan since AI and have travelled the world to hear him in concert - so he said " I recognize you" but I'm not sure he really did. Then we talked about what he prefers - an intimate Bowery type venue (told him I had flown there from Vancouver to hear him) or the big stadiums with Queen. He said :"It's just different. I like doing the Queen stuff because it's such a big space (as he spread out his arms) but I like doing the smaller gigs because I can see everybody and it's a little more easy to control all the sound .. I don't know, I like both. ". I said a few more things and then he asks if you want to take a photo - which they send you along with the entire video. My meeting lasted 1.30 minutes - so Adam is not sticking strictly to the time - others also had longer meetings. I wished I could talk to him for hours. He's so sweet, so relaxed and puts you at ease. As we all know, a very special man. I watched both concerts yesterday - first one on my PC and second one on my big screen TV connected to the laptop with HDMI. The sound was far better on the second show - as everyone said. The camera work was a little better as well - I can't believe how blurry so much of the footage was in the first show. They should have practiced focusing! I thought Adam sounded more strained in some of the songs on the second show (like Superpower, Loverboy and a few more) and his voice was raspier. Plus his pitch wasn't as solid. He tended to be flat and had a bit of trouble hitting the higher notes - especially when he has to leap up to them - like those octave jumps in Music Again (those were OK though.) On the other hand, I felt he was more relaxed and the show was as much fun as the first. Loved his second outfit! He said in an interview that he wasn't motivated to practice much during Covid and I get that. I was the same until the Vancouver Symphony got back to work in Sept. We record everything now and stream. I'd be curious how much he practiced for this show - but would never dare ask. I'd love the option in the future to pay for a well done live stream of Adam's shows. I've spent more money than I want to think about on travel, hotels, and overpriced tickets from second sellers - not to mention the wracked nerves from trying to buy tickets in the first place. I'm getting too old for all that, LOL. Plus I'm beginning to wonder if travel will ever be back to normal with all the new Covid strains appearing.

Thanks for the recap Melisende ! I have no idea where any mic is or the camera on my PC.......lol. I'm afraid we may never have in person M&Gs again. This may be what he does going forward. Much easier on him I imagine.
