I kind of hope RCA has some new innovative "cutting edge" promotion planned for Adam, as opposed to the "usual" promotion they have done for Kelly, Daughtry, and Cook. Those artists seem to be on the down slide, and don't have anywhere near the sales they used to, so I hope, they can work Adam in some new avenues that will generate interest that those artists have lost. Kelly is doing fine. She isn't doing Rhinanna type sales but her first single is over 800K and the 2nd single is much better. Expect it to move faster. RCA had different plans last time for Adam, like expecting the AMA performance to skyrocket his sales and radio play. It didn't work. I hope they have lots of radio promo lined up for him this time. Radio is a game and Adam needs to be playing. I think I'll wait to see what actually happens before I start speculating but I hope his promo is more like Katy Perry and Keisha than the same old the poor idols get (even Kelly is not doing as great as expected IMO) :

It is just not in me to think that there will be no promo/woe he is doomed. Just because WE don't know what is happening does not mean nothing is happening. I will leave it to Adam and his team, all of whom are quite competent, to surprise and delight me.

Even though it was brought to Adam, I think things like the Queen appearance, are different, unique, and those type things will help him become more broadly noticed. Whew, logged on because I wanted to see my stars. I've been really busy lately on a hectic 12 hour a day work schedule, with nearly a day off leading up to the holidays, for like the past 20 days with work. I've been mainly on twitter. (primarily having SusieFierce talk me away from some crazy ideas ), and have only been able to mainly lurk here and just barely catch up for the day before it was over. Anyway I'm just happy to be able to take a breather, now that I finally have a couple of days off. :D I just wanted to make a comment on this, regarding why RCA aren't doing the standard/usual promo for Adam as they have dome for Kelly, Daughtry and Cook. According to that Toby Knaap blog, (If he can be trusted and believed), he said something to the effect that RCA seems to be gearing up Adam to make the same impact to the radio/pop music landscape as Lady Gaga, so it makes sense that they're strategizing in new and interesting different ways for this era to really blow up, to catapult Adam into music royalty and not for Adam just to substan good to great sales, that will have him to be decent until the 3rd album. And yeah this sound like fan hype, but it seems like this is being said by a lot of the bloggers, radio and music experts, etc., who were and weren't fans of Adam during his first era. THIS. UNF. And I don't see any angsting. Not here anyways. Just hopeful speculation and discussion. I don't think any one of us here thinks RCA is gonna leave him twisting in the wind.

Another Levine/Lambert mix-up. Maybe all this mixing up will prove beneficial to Adam in the long run???

evergreen - I loved "All Creatures Great and Small"! In fact, we named our youngest child "Tristan" after Siegfried's silly younger brother in the series! Welcome Back, Gelly
. One of my first jobs after becoming an RN was working for an OB/GYN doc - - and we'd receive vials of frozen donor semen. I'd thaw one at a time (description - "med student, caucasian, red hair, 6'2' . . . ) in a paper cup filled with warm water; then check a drop for viability under the microscope, and if things were moving I'd draw it up into a syringe and cross my fingers for the woman in the exam room. Pretty high tech!! My first post in a few days . . . hope to see a star!! Lilly - Your little story reminded me of one of my favorite series of books - by James Herriot, a vet in rural Scotland, who was also a wonderful story teller. His first book was "All Creatures Great and Small" and he writes of his experiences with the animals he dealt with, as well as their owners. For the animal lovers here especially, you would love these books. www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_c_1_13/188-8804860-6485838?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=james+herriot&sprefix=james+herriot#/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_1_17?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=james+herriot+all+things+bright+and+beautiful&sprefix=james+herriot+all&rh=n%3A283155%2Ck%3Ajames+herriot+all+things+bright+and+beautifulCould we have a moratorium on this subject please? : :
