Thank you for this info, this makes perfect sense and it fits with what Shoshanna said when asked on twitter why the single release date in the UK is so late (compared to the US, etc) So based on the recent tweet from Shoshanna (in response to Leyton), if Radio 1 does not add, it looks like she is hoping that the song will chart high enough/sell well in the first week just based on Glamberts and Adam's profile in the media/on tv. Then, if the song charts high enough, she's hoping Radio 1 won't be able to ignore Adam anymore. What's your opinion on that? I don't think they are going to give the second single any greater or lesser shot based on how BTIKM charts. I reckon Shoshanna and co are biding their time for the UK push til we get to the upbeat songs. I really want to type the words 'damage limitation' but it's not anywhere near that catastrophic. It's like WWFM - it just doesn't readily fit. It'll be telling when Adam next comes back to the UK. If they are serious in getting BTIKM as high as they possibly can to try to influence people like Radio 1, he'll be back here in the week before 12 March. If it's later than that, they are keeping cards up their sleeves to use on the next single. Curious about if FYE (the single) fit? Wasn't that the first single they released to the UK last time?

See, I came in here this evening all lalalala happy about my single, but veeeeeeery important convert and came up against angst that I (for a change in the UK) wasn't feeling.........so couldn't resist :-/. Brit humour can obviously be a little smutty.

OMG I worry up there with the best of 'em, but come on, people, this guy DOES NOT KNOW for a fact that Radio 1 will not add BTIKM. He just expressed his disappointment that it didn't happen THIS WEEK. It can still happen, you know? Even if it does not happen next week as a result of the press junket and his showcase and so on, Shoshanna basically says that it could still happen in the future, if enough people like the song and there's enough buzz about Adam going forward. Sure, this is not encouraging to hear and it would have been AWESOME had Radio 1 added now, but it's totally crazy to fall into a spiral of doom when the game is not over yet, not by a long shot. His album is not even out! IKR? - I don't get it. :-/ Once again it's the sky is falling and - noreaster- scooch over - I want to join you in that angst-free corner. 8-) The sky is falling and Adam's not even off the plane from the UK.. #NoPanicZone

It's a he and he is a glambert .. supports Adam & loves the songs he's heard on Trespassing. He is the manager of Chart TV/plus dance programs with influence in Europe.IMHO He's a little frustrated as we all get when we want Adam to get the prize NOW!! OOOps- it is a he. :-[ HE is still not a member of Adams team. He does not work for RCA and he does not know the plans for this era. He has no idea what the RCA's plans are for this era's roll-out!

illuxxia minna Möte med Adam Lambert bit.ly/vZyGJX (Swedish blogger Christina Olnish) christinaolnils.spotlife.se/2012/02/08/mote-med-adam-lambert/illuxxia minna lol, he was all pouty for not being able to fit into Freddie's outfits, as he was a little to big in the waist region11 minutes ago Retweeted by citygirl36 LOL.. Oh Adam.. you're 6'1' and Freddie's only 5.9 .. and you have a wider chest than Freddie.. off course you're not able to fit into Freddie's outfits.. but.... you can always perform with Queen without your top on or shirt and jacket on .. you know .. sometimes Freddie performed on stage without his top/shirt on too. So I think if you do that we would be okay ;D ;D ;D ;D.

Me too have no idea how the promo works, Adam's has done the acoustic setting showcase in London including Trespassing. Does he needs to go there the 3rd time when Album drop? Industrial music UK peeps should have an idea how the album sound and they still hold the uncertainty ???. No angst for me. But maybe Radio 1 is waiting because they know what the rest of the album sounds like. I think the tweet from Leyton that threw everyone for a loop was saying that Radio 1 doesn't usually jump on board mid-way through an era for an artist (paraphrasing obv). But most the UK listening party reviews also said that BTIKM wasn't representative of the album.
