Man, I don't think I've ever scrolled through so may pages before! So much angst over a guy that is a Glambert and is just angsting!! I would have NEVER in a million years expected BTIKM to be added to Radio 1 this early. NEVER!!!! It's not early for a UK single release timetable - if they add it next week, it'll be cutting it fine. The first week sales of a single are everything. Then RCA will move on to another single in the UK. If that doesn't catch on, FUCK 'EM, they are missing out! Adam can still do well in other markets, like the US, Japan, Germany and Canada. Getting the UK market would be nice, but it isn't going to make or break this Era! Adam didn't have the UK last era and he did well selling outside of the US! In the end, it's their loss!!!!

From lynnsblueeyedsoul: Manip I made inspired by Dark Adam in his music video for Better Than I Know Myself. Check out Adam Lambert’s magnificent vocal & acting performance here: youtu.be/Lg31XQR22zg

The single is available here to buy on 12 March (with the album on 19 March) so if Radio 1 start playing it next Wednesday, the song will have just 3 1/2 weeks on the radio to reach saturation point in everyone's minds so that they all go buy it that week. It almost doesn't matter if they play it after 12 March. It's not anywhere near that absolute, but imagine everything about the US single release process and flip it backwards. Thank you for this info, this makes perfect sense and it fits with what Shoshanna said when asked on twitter why the single release date in the UK is so late (compared to the US, etc) So based on the recent tweet from Shoshanna (in response to Leyton), if Radio 1 does not add, it looks like she is hoping that the song will chart high enough/sell well in the first week just based on Glamberts and Adam's profile in the media/on tv. Then, if the song charts high enough, she's hoping Radio 1 won't be able to ignore Adam anymore. What's your opinion on that? I don't think they are going to give the second single any greater or lesser shot based on how BTIKM charts. I reckon Shoshanna and co are biding their time for the UK push til we get to the upbeat songs. I really want to type the words 'damage limitation' but it's not anywhere near that catastrophic. It's like WWFM - it just doesn't readily fit. It'll be telling when Adam next comes back to the UK. If they are serious in getting BTIKM as high as they possibly can to try to influence people like Radio 1, he'll be back here in the week before 12 March. If it's later than that, they are keeping cards up their sleeves to use on the next single.

I don't disagree, because I know nothing, but I have a very strong personal feeling that Finland gets its trends from USA, not UK. I have no idea ... I just meant though I know UK is important, the US accounts for a huge, huge percentage of sales and influence. I want Adam to be a hit in the UK too but it seems a lot more important that he be a hit in the United States. Regardless ... doing all I can! Not going to angst! Me too have no idea how the promo works, Adam's has done the acoustic setting showcase in London including Trespassing. Does he needs to go there the 3rd time when Album drop? Industrial music UK peeps should have an idea how the album sound and they still hold the uncertainty ???. No angst for me.

Please don't misunderstand me (my broken English). I was just wondering the meaning of UK for European markets, because I can't see it here. For us USA is important as I can see it. PS. I don't know about the rest of Europe.
