Sometimes I feel like Oliver is becoming a mini-me of Adam, or they are morphing into each other ! (LOL) Sometimes I feel they look very much alike with makeup, etc. Especially when Oliver wears Adam's clothes (I find wering a signifigant other's clothes very loving). |

Regarding Adam and Cabaret, I still don't really believe it, but I know sometimes there are different people for short periods of time replacing people who have left main characters. Cabaret is booking into Feb. I had wanted to see it with Redmayne and was disappointed to find he was leaving in September. But, it would be hard to know if and when Adam would be playing until specific dates were actually announced. I checked out the broadwayworld.com message board to see if this rumor has been reported there yet, and saw a post from someone that they'd heard an announcement should be made on the replacement casting by mid-July. If true - and a lot of the posters there are very knowledgeable - we should find out pretty soon. Someone did post they saw a post on another message board that Adam will be taking over for Eddie, but there was no source. At any rate, the little reaction there has been so far has been pretty positive. I also googled Sweaty Oracle, and apparently he is not held in high esteem by the Broadway community. He's based in SC and the prevailing view is he is not the "insider" he purports to be. However, based on yesterday's thread, a fan has a friend who is well-connected and says it's true. I wouldn't find it difficult to believe at all - it's a perfect project for him. But time will tell! |

The rumor seems pretty strong in Adam's favor. Hope it's true. I have heard of a "Layton" guy somewhere, too. We'll soon find out. Adam would be PERFECT.

Oh, I think Adam would be perfect too, but there are just so many trolls on SM, that I'm usually reluctant to believe anything until there's official proof. I'll keep my fingers crossed. |

I read somewhere (wish I had kept the address) that someone named Layton will be replacing Eddie as MC. We will just have to wait for official confirmation as to who it will be. I'm not familiar with who Layton might be, but I would think they'd be going for a more widely known person than that for the Emcee. But who knows. Hopefully we'll know sooner rather than later. |

He (Layton) is currently playing the EMcee in the West End…apparently finishes late September! 👍
The plot thickens….
May be an impossible dream but London really does love Adam….

Guess we will see what transpires with diff names being tossed out. (I did not check google to see if Layton was in/withdrew or is out.). But is sure shows active rumours.
