Adam Lambert On What He's Bringing To The Voice | Meet The Coaches | The Voice Australia
Adam is really sweet How He Puts artists, Art and Talent First before Business. But lol how He mentioned completely and exclusivly visual Things that He has and the Other Coaches don't and in the following sentence says he loves how the Show is about Talent and Not visuals 😅 Yes, looks contradictory, doesn't it? I always got the impression he put the contestants first. If you look back on those shows where he does a duet, he always takes a step back and allow the contestant to shine, unlike the other coaches. I think what he is bringing is different than what he is looking for in a contestant. He couldn't really say his phenomenal voice, that would have been tacky (although it's the truth)!

I wouldn't be too critical of Adam talking about the visual along with the "talent" of a contestant. If anyone knows that it all goes hand in hand, it's him. And so do a thousand other artists. He has been great mentor in the past, both on AI and in Australia, etc. He's sensible, yet creative and realistic, and he always gives good advice.
He is a gem, full of talent in countless ways. Can't wait to hear how the Cabaret rehearsals are going when they get started. Hope he communicates with us about it a bit. My chances of going to NYC to see him perform live are slim and none, but I hope others here who may go will give us their reviews.

Hubby and I are going to the matinee show on 9/28. Have been preparing by watching some youtube clips of Eddie Redmayne and Alan Cummings in the role. I'd only seen the Bob Fosse directed movie with Joel Grey and Liza Minelli back in 1972. That was when a couple of us Catholic HS students on a Forensic League competition in Pittsburgh made a break for a night off and went to the movies. I think Adam will do fine, but he does have shoes to fill for Alan Cummings' version.
