That's it! Thanks. I was able to read it by magnifying it on my screen. Good article. Nice words, Adam. A couple of small errors: Adam DID do further displays of homosexuality, i.e. kissing Tommy during most of the GNT concerts. And, he and Sauli didn't meet at his concert. But, I nit-pick. This article is a keeper.

I think it would upset me a bit if The Rolling Stones replaced Mick Jagger and still called themselves the Rolling Stones. Jagger as a singer for the Stones IS irreplacable. I can identify a bit with hard core queen fans when they view the whole adam thing as a type of sacrilege. That being said though it is a shame to let great music by original band members go unplayed and unheard, especially if the musicians want to continue to play and fans want to hear. and i believe there would be quite a few beatles fans excited to see paul and ringo play together and recreate the music even if that olly murs was singing, (or was that another underhanded slam) don't know much about mr murs. BUT! Queen is not calling themselves just Queen. It is Queen with Adam Lambert. I can understand the way the diehard fans feel though.

I saw FogHat in concert last year at the White Buffalo Bikefest in Snyder, TX. Only one of the original members was in the band, the rest were young, hot and the concert was great! The songs live on, even when the original band doesn't. Nobody seemed to mind that there were new members, and the lead vocalist didn't even sound like the original. It was great!

Yes, I totally see where the hard-core Queen fans are coming from. No matter how well Adam does at Sonisphere, they will still not be happy. It is what it is. For a certain segment of the Queen fandom, Queen isn't Queen without Freddie (and John Deacon to a slightly lesser degree). That being said, I've been lurking on the Queen forum, and there has been an interesting progression through the stages of grief about the whole thing. After some days of shock and horror and rage, many fans have settled down a bit and are accepting the inevitable evil, lol. They are starting to speculate about the possibility of more shows, a world tour even. And they are speculating about possible setlists and posting what songs they think will best go over at Sonisphere (they acknowledge that this will not be a crowd of Queen fans) and what songs they'd most like to see. Whether any of the hard-core diehard purists will change their minds about Adam is yet to be seen. Possibly not. Maybe some will come to a place of grudging acknowledgment of Adam's talent, while at the same time sticking to their POV that Queen is still not Queen without Freddie. But I think there are plenty of more open-minded Queen fans who are excited about this collaboration and are looking forward to hearing the music again. Remember that the online fanbase of any artist is only the most extreme and dedicated tip (lol) of the iceberg. And these are people who have been stanning a band for DECADES.

I think that there are several promises pending. Fault and YahooUK video from the photoshoot, and EQ (?) the whole OOL London performance... ??? ??? ???
And of course, still hoping for something from Vail.

digg.com/newsbar/topnews/adam_lambert_attends_elton_john_aids_foundation_with_boyfriendAdam Lambert Attends Elton John AIDS Foundation With Boyfriend JEFF WALL MARCH 3, 2012 Adam Lambert fresh from his recent tours decided to attend the 20th Annual Elton John Aids foundation with his boyfriend, Sauli Koskinen. When reporters asked Adam Lambert if he plans to marry Sauli, Adam Lambert replied, “We will announce it if we decide to.” An appropriate answer, better than just saying ‘f-off’ like most celebrities. As you can see from the Adam Lambert Photos right below, Adam decided to bring even more flare to the event by spiking his hair and doing his usual eye make-up, tell us if you think about his fashion statement in the comments, enjoy.
