If anyone in the NY/NJ area is interested, Sam Sparro and Nikka Costa will be performing at the Highline Ballroom. Sam Sparro 4/21/12 at 7:00 pm. Saturday Nikka Costa 5/24/12 at 8:00 pm. (I just won tickets to see Adam in Portland, eeeeee!!!!!!, having trouble containing the  ) Congrats rabbit! (Adam would make an excellent guest star on Portlandia - maybe centered around everyone disliking him before they meet him (as he stands for all that is wrong) and then backpedaling when they inevitably fall for him. ("Well, he does juice and he appreciates kale. And maybe he's actually satirizing pop culture - really subtly.) I feel like a very bad Portlander in that I haven't watched Portlandia yet (on the the other hand I do grow Organic Kale and have trendy socks made out of Bamboo, and spend most of my time making environmentally themed art, so...). Yes, and when I wear my Adam t-shirt under my clay-splashed hoodie in the studio, some probably think I'm being ironic....little do they know.  ETA: thanks everybody! I will attempt to be a good recapper. |
