I feel like a very bad Portlander in that I haven't watched Portlandia yet (on the the other hand I do grow Organic Kale and have trendy socks made out of Bamboo, and spend most of my time making environmentally themed art, so...). Yes, and when I wear my Adam t-shirt under my clay-splashed hoodie in the studio, some probably think I'm being ironic....little do they know. ETA: thanks everybody! I will attempt to be a good recapper. rabbitrabbit - I don't think you're really missing anything w/Portlandia. I've only seen a few eps and while some bits are very funny - overall it can be heavy handed and kind of mean to its characters (instead of affectionately poking them). Looking forward to your post-Adam reportage. Powers That Be - Question: I've noticed that over last couple of days there have been donations to Charity Water that include March Matchness notations. Is someone going to match these? Or has already? (I'd say I've lost track but I never really had track) And is it correct that those of us who were further down spreadsheet as 'matchers' should stand pat with our donations until next big push? Just wondering.

It's a gorgeous sunny day in northern VA; yellow daffodils are blooming, joggers and dog-walkers are out and about and I rolled down the car window and let BTIKM blast from my car radio for the neighbors! Our DC Cumulus station MIX 107.3 is playing it several times a day now, and the DJ reminded fans to call in on Monday morning to try for tickets to hear Adam. As they say in Bertlandia, YAY! *\0/*

Ditto to Murly's rec. I just watched this a.m. and worth it just to hear Bruce Springsteen sing 'wiggle, wiggle, wiggle.'

You big-time deserve it!! Damn girl. I am sooooo jealous. And if you grow organic kale you are in like butter, or rather organic coconut oil. It's like the ninnoo nannoo. Brian May is a lead guitar wet dream. Yes, I said that. To hear him is to want Adam and Brian working together. Dear Brian, write a song for and/or with Adam and make the world a better place please, thank you. I try not to think about it too much because It blows my neuronal axons.

ladymaserati, welcome back!I am so glad that you joined us again. I've been thinking about you every day, and wondered what happened, when you decided to leave the adamtopian site. I have felt close to you, because I feel that we have similar difficulties (for example the language), a similar situation in life,-I also have two sons-. So a big hug for you!Otherwise, I'll never be able to write as long post, as you wrote today. Wow!

Talking about Brian May - have you seen this? And the critics of current Queen Band expect him to just sit and wait for retirement? Queen: A Night At The Opera - Good Company
Uploaded by mobile4357 on Feb 25, 2008 This is really great. It shows how Brian single handedly created an entire dixieland band with layered guitar tracks. Amazing. Genius.
