what the heck are we supposed to do with this one?? I'm confused. In that box that says REQUEST A SONG, type in the title. Then it says they are going to pick the top 3 and we will whack (I think.) Oh...I just keep typing in his song and refreshing?? There's no where to whack yet, right? |

I think Adam sensed it.. so he teased Blake, but I'm so glad that Adam didn't hear when Blake said something about the juicer thing... :  Re the video...Contrary to what some think, I love the loud lady. She is having the time of her life and I want to do that when I ever get a chance to meet Adam (notice I said when not if). I'll bet she will remember that day forever (and I want that). I remember the day I met TJ in Atlanta and I literally jumped out of my car in the middle of the street to run to meet him. Yes I am weird but adrenalin is a powerful medium. LOL I'll never forget that feeling. I felt like I was flying. Imagine if Adam had been standing on that street....................oh my!!! ;D |

Yes!!!! He did say Shoulder pads! Guess I should have read that post better!  How about a Gareth Pugh jacket with the silver pants?! Depends on what's the weather temperature in July in Knebworth ... just googled it. July average temparature's 68-73F .. is it about right? .. I think Gareth Pugh Leather Jacket will be too hot for him. On the EMA, in the A/C room he said he was sweating wearing that jacket... should be something comfortable for him for 1-2hrs performance .. but I would love for the silver pants to surface again.. ;D ;D ;D .. eventhough when they're on stage prolly it's after 7-8pm.. .. LOL |

So excited that I won a pass to see Adam at the Hamilton on Monday, courtesy of 94.7 Fresh FM in DC!!! I have been to many concerts - Gridlock, Fantasy Springs, several GNT shows - but never a meet and greet. Never been within 30 ft of Adam, except once in Denver when I waited at the buses and saw him about 10 ft away. This will be a new experience for me and in a great, relaxed venue. The Hamilton is a brand new music venue in the downstairs of a restaurant in downtown DC. It is beautifully finished and has tables and bar stools in a tiered configuration with the stage at the bottom. It is too bad that he will only be doing 2 songs, but maybe we can squeeze one more out of him. I am hoping for a really fun and relaxed interview too because the host will most likely be Tommy McFly, who has interviewed him before at the 9:30 club before a GNT show. Tommy is a fan, and a young, really cool guy - much like Blake in Houston today. And to top it all off, the event is at 6:30 pm, so I don't even have to make up an imaginary Dr. appt or some other reason to miss work!! There will be two other radio promo's that day - noonish for Mix107.3 at the Gibson Guitar Center, and some other time of the day for Hot99.5 (Toby Knapp, Kane, etc) at the Sierra Mist Natural Lounge - wherever that is - undisclosed time. I am hoping the Fresh94.7 event is the last of the day and he doesn't have to run off somewhere. Although it is feasible that he could go to the airport for a late flight back to LA - there are some leaving as late as 10:00 Anyway - this will be an adventure and so sweet to see him up close and personal. Hopefully lots of other ATOP'ers from the DC area got passes as well!!!!!  |
