Hi graciejane - Thanks much for posting - that was very interesting (and made me want Italian food~). :D Take care. Graciejane, I really enjoyed reading that, and I'm not a techie, at all. I don't often read the technical singing analyses. But for some reason, this was really interesting -- something about the way the author described things, as well as her apparent objectivity and consideration of Adam's evolving technique. (Or maybe it was the subliminal Italian food message that Mika mentioned, lol). Anyway, thanks for posting! And I'm wondering if Cassie saw this -- would be interesting to get her reaction. OMG, I'm so far behind, there is NO WAY I can keep up with all the details of this promo tour and the radio play, but for some reason this caught my attention. And my next post will be about kale, LOL.

Misha and Mayumi, have a great time at the Atlanta event! And if he sings Cuckoo a little audio snippet, via camera or cell phone would be appreciated. You could even make a video of yourself humming a few bars! Anything! ;D

okay...does anyone have success with kale "chips"?? What oven temp and for how long?? also to relate this to Adam....I bought some coconut water today. Dear Lord and all that is Holy! What a disgusting substance! A mouthful of phlegm-like bits. Still shuddering..... I never had bits in the coconut water I have had (unless it was straight out of a coconut). I like it as a much less sweet alternative to sports drink when I am dehydrated. Having looked at a few recipes for Kale chips before they seem to vary a lot on the temps they use. However most of them are along the lines of sprinkle some oil, put them in the oven and wait for them to be crispy. If you keep a close eye on them it probably doesn't matter what temp you choose. Hi, in my experience one of the important things with kale chips is to make sure they are dry before sprinkling them with oil and salt and putting them in the oven (I think 350 is a good temp.). Otherwise they will be soggy instead of crisp. And you definitely need to keep a close eye on them so they don't burn. But they're very good, if not exactly low calorie. My daughter is big on juicing but I usually use my vitamix for kale (and other) smoothies. Kale is good in a smoothie with a mix of other veggies and fruits -- maybe 3 veggies and 3 fruits. I like to vary what I use. Animated, your kale/cucumber/green apple smoothie sounds great!

What was I thinking as Finn, listening to KiddKraddick "Finnish" language: 'He's trying to emulate some kind of Swedish. Why does he continue to do so for as long ... He thinks its very funny ...' I think the joke was not hit right. Mockery is not the same as jokingly. I'm sorry Adam's behalf, that he must hear it. I'm so glad you said this, butterfly. I said yesterday I thought the interview was hilarious and I still think so, for the most part. This was the one thing I was a bit uncomfortable with-- and later I thought about it and realized why. As a person of Asian descent I've endured people doing the sing song "ching chong" to my face and behind my back when I lived on the US Mainland. As a child I was embarrassed and hurt by this, as it forced me to realize I was "different" from everyone else. This was the same thing. Not malicious, I'm sure, but thoughtless and insensitive nonetheless. I still think overall the interview was a win for Adam, and I believe KK does like Adam a lot, buffoonery aside. Aloha, I agree with your thoughts on this. I thought the interview was funny and Adam seemed to be enjoying himself. But I agree that KK went a little too far and got carried away with the joke "accent". I don't think he was malicious, as you say, but yes, insensitive. I definitely, however, got the impression that he likes and respects Adam. And he seems to have acknowledged that he was a bit of a buffoon in this interview. Juniemoon, LOVED your recap. And Adam looks so happy and relaxed and lovely in the vids from the Houston stations. Have only listened to one performance so far (the KK one) but he sounded gorgeous. IMO his performances of BTIKM are getting better and better.

Thanks for the translation Craazyforadam. It's so helpful having native speakers do that for us. ..and ksha518 thanks for the kale chip tips. I'll try them again - mine might have been still wet (they didn't turn out well on my initial attempt. ).
