Keep in mind we have no idea how many people are here but these are the few I saw tweets from. I doubt seriously Adam would spin the whole album at a prearranged party without someone from RCA there. Also, I think ever recent trip to NY has also meant important label meetings. Single announcement, release delay, etc.

Yay for the album being done!!! I wonder if this means completely in the can, finito, ready-to-ship kind of done or just that all of Adam's work and the production on it is complete? I love Adam and Nile together. I was hoping Nile had a chance to hear what Adam said about him in your video. I wonder if it's true that there will be guest performers during Queen's set at Knebworth? Wonder if it's possible for Nile to fill in, at least for a song or two, as guest bassist, especially since the original bass player won't be there? After all Queen did "borrow" Chic's "Good Times" bass line for "Another One Bites the Dust"--probably my favorite Queen song--so would be cool to hear Nile playing on this song! Real life has been so real I am having a hard time keeping up with all the Adam events. What did Adam say about niles and is there a YouTube link to the Russian lady vid being discussed? Thanks! |

Surprisingly, it was not bad as expected (as this type of movie is not my favorite at all) lol As all of you know by now, #BTIKM is the 'title track'. The song plays thrice throughout the movie, although the first time it's only the few beginning chords, so I think a non-fan wouldn't notice. The second time the song plays during a key scene, when the kids are rescued from the island. We can hear a part of the bridge and the chorus. It's very present in this scene. The third time the song plays over the speakers in a plane, during another key scene, when the main characters confess their love. The music is just in the background then, but it's quite a long sequence. Although #BTIKM is credited as 'title track' in the ending credits, the song is NOT played when they roll. But they do show a BIG FAT ad with the single CD cover during the ending credits! All in all I have to say that it looks like Sony really made an effort to put the song there. It would have been better, of course, if it would get played during the ending credits (like TfM for '2012'). However, I doubt that random movie goers will check out (and buy) the song just because of the movie. But maybe this 'title track' thing will lead to some more radio play and then people will go and buy it. Who knows? I'll keep my fingers crossed.  You never know.. I saw a movie preview that had a song I really liked playing through it, and as soon as I got home, I looked for it and bought it on iTunes. I don't even remember the movie that was previewed now, but the song left a strong enough impression for me to remember it after watching the rest of the previews, then a movie, and then to go search it out and buy it.. so it could happen with BTIKM. |

Thank you!!!!! I have been googling and reading about these different twitter names. So I gather "The Six Pack" is the biggest iTunes download for their show???? It is rather confusing, anyway......what you just said now ties together the articles I just read. Perfect timing on your part!!! Please, if you don't mind, when you say "music played in gay dance clubs can help a song move to pop radio", please elaborate. For instance, why did you say gay dance clubs versus dance clubs? Forgive me if I am asking questions that maybe everyone else already knows the answer Anyway, perfect timing on your part.......hope you don't mind my inquiring way :D Thats how Lady Gaga blew up, she started in gay dance clubs in NY. They could be trying that strategy. You see..........I totally am NOT in the "IN CROWD", I did not know that. Any play in dance clubs can help a song. I just think (but can't prove) that there are more gay dance
clubs than straight dance clubs.
You ladies know how hard it is to get your man to dance!

Probably also the reason why she has such a devoted and large gay fanbase. ...hmmm...Adam does not seem to have a gay fan base... from a few of his own comments of the "we eat our own" type...OK... IDK - in a way - disappointing (if true) after all the flailing about "Kary Perry" promo style.. I really want him to be in the mainstream and not pigeonholed.... |

Guise!!! It's taken over a week and I've learned alot about diplomacy, but just want you to know that: MY TICKETS TO ADAM/QUEEN IN MOSCOW ARE PURCHASED AND TUCKED AWAY IN THE SAFE OF THE HOTEL WHERE WE'LL STAY!!!!!!!!!!! 8th ROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE EVEN HAVE PHOTOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT'S REALLY GOING TO HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I attribute my CUCKOO behavior entirely to Adam Fucking Lambert!!!!! I never left the borders of the USA till I was over 50 - - and now I'm going to MOSCOW!!!!!!!!!
